i'm curious as is it possible to have CM change the plate design of their mechanical keyboards so as to facilitate the ability to remove the top covers of the cherry switches without desoldering it. or will it increase production cost etc. we have the technology

if they actually made a groupbuy, i think they'd sell more units. and at least have a gauge on the market and the amount of boards they need to produce so as to not become scarce or overproduced

There is indeed. Me included! It's already as Mac compatible as any regular USB keyboard. Like CM's current models, the NovaTouch has no DIP switches.
