Quick question about easy AVR.
Hi I've just used easy AVR to make a .hex file to load onto my teensy. The question is how do I decide which pins are rows 1-5 and columns 1-14? I didn't see anywhere how to change that. Thanks in advance for any help.

A question about stabilizer sizes.
I'm building a PCB mounted keyboard to save a bit of money on getting a case. I have 6 Cherry MX PCB stabilizers which all have a 1 gap space between them. I have just ordered a set of g20 keycaps 60% from SignaturePlastics and these are the 'different' keys: 7 – 1.25x Keys 2 – 1.5x Keys 1 – 1.75x K...

Coding and all that malarkey?
Was wondering how you are actually meant to program in a keyboard layout. http://deskthority.net/resources/image/15807 That's the layout I would like but I really have no clue how to get it like that. I think it's advised that I should use a teensy but I'm not sure I even have enough space to progra...

Ok so I've made another template with stabilizers, thinner lines and a more accurate 14mm between the outside of the inner most lines. I know for sure that they are all the same stabilizers but I have no idea if they are all the right one in terms of "u". Also in general I'm really not sure if these...

Cutout Verifying
Hi I'm trying to finalize my cutout design and here's where I'm at. MXSwitchCuouts.png This is a keyswitch cutout from this thread: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=47744.msg1019782#msg1019782 on geekhack. I was wondering if it is correct or if it's out of date. I have done a plate design with it...

Another custom keyboard post [Work in progress]
Crimzon's Custom Keyboard (too damn catchy) I'd just like to say before this gets started that this post is basically a really long question so those looking for something to learn from I'd come back later and read the answers Recently I have been asking around deskthority with a bunch of questions...

Wow. The timing is impeccable. I was just about to post pretty much this exact thread to ask for opinions. I'm in pretty much the same situation as you amp + I love the custom keyboards Matt3o has made. I still have a few questions however: Does anyone have a template for the holes where you mount t...

So far I've just got messages asking about specific things not pricing. Should I start a new 'thread' on the marketplace (is it thread or post? :P im new)? So maybe I'll say £40 minimum? Also are the PBT keycaps also poor on the Poker 2 or is it just the ABS ones? Thanks for everyone helping me sort...

Not sure if here is the thread to discuss it but why not Poker? I need something small but can't afford a HHKB. They look really nice IMO. This is pretty nice to type on too however although the only other thing if typed on is a CM with Mx browns. Also aside from the key caps what makes this a nicer...

Oh well. So yeah how much is it worth then. The caps are really quite shiny sadly. Not too yellow but IDK. You can sorta assess from the picture on the original thread. The only key notably chipped upon examination is F5 but it's only minor and unnoticeable during typing or just looking at it. This ...

You can haz! For a price :P. I really have no idea what the price is other than what it says on taobao. Also can anyone confirm these are vintage switches? Hopefully they are. I will try upload a video tomorrow of the sound. Also what is it that attracted you to this keyboard? Is it the old retro lo...

Yay it works! Yeah I'll send some photos now. I think the problem was the USB bit. I have to plug it in with a DIN to ps/2 adapter into the ps/2 slot. Then restart fully instead of just doing a driver restart. I was in a rush earlier. Yeah I'll upload pictures soon but it's not pretty. Plan on clean...

I want AT? I saw the switches before and asked a friend and he said XT? It's fairing is farily dreadful but nothing is cracked or broken except maybe the keyboard it's self (still testing). I found it at the tip lol. Someone threw it out and I spotted it. Pretty lucky. I've seen a g80 there before b...
