Just saw a cheap Wang 724 pop up on Ebay. Looks pretty dirty and the guy doesn't say anything about whether it works, but I know there are tons of people looking for this keyboard.

Fantastic! I'll be bringing my HHKB along with me and any boards I get by then! Finally a meet up that isn't 4+ hours away by bus. :D Oh, well, I suppose I'll leave my HHKB at home then. I'll bring my Novatouch w/Dolch and Digilog Realforce. Any chance you have a 55g RF87? I've been wanting to see ...

Seattle Mechanical Keyboard Meetup August 2015
I reserved the back study room which has a large table (same as the March meetup which worked well) where everyone can place their keyboards. Here are the details for the meetup: Location: Victrola Coffee & Art at 411 15th Ave E in Seattle, WA Date: Saturday, August 1st Time: We have the room from 5...

I'm trying to do a little research to determine if the place we had it last time will work again or not. We were able to get a large study room with a massive table which was nice. Unfortunately, because that coffee shop is usually so busy on the weekends they won't allow any more day reservations. ...

Is this switch a good find? Brown tactile alps. Most amazing tactile bump I have ever felt. IMG_2149.JPG I also have a few other boards I would like to show you guys. I was busy this weekend ;) That's awesome! I would love to get my hands on some of those switches someday. What keyboard did you fin...

That's sweet. I assumed that since the spacebar was the only key that was discolored, but it's nice to get confirmation. I would really really love to have one of these, but they appear to be nearly impossible to find.Muirium wrote: ↑They are on mine. Everything but the spacebar.

SGI Granite on Swedish auction site Tradera. ANSI layout. PS/2. ~ 17 euros. The same seller has also Cherry Raptor Gaming K! keyboard for sale, with lubed Cherry MX Blacks. Norwegian layout. I'd guess the keycaps are POM, lasered with infill. Is the seller one of us? Do you know if the mods on SGI ...

I believe the Matias linear is meant to be quite light, but I'm not sure of the exact force required. The wiki says 60 +- 5g, but my sample switches feel comparatively light. http://deskthority.net/wiki/Matias_switch#Linear Thanks, I'll have to look into the Matias linear switch. Can Someone Recommend a Lightweight ALPS Tactile or Linear Switch
I've been reading on the DT page regarding ALPs switches and it looks like there are plenty of options when it comes to complicated ALPs, but I do not see many with a low actuation force. They all seem to be ~70g or above. I'm looking for something that requires roughly the same force as an MX red s...

I can't really speak to that since I live in Seattle, but I'm sure there must be some people that share the hobby down there. Have there been any meetups before in those areas? Okay, I think I may have a much better option for this Sunday as well as possible future meetups. There is ANOTHER coffee shop named Victrola Coffee and Art located at 411 15th Ave E Seattle, WA 98112. They have a much larger back room that I was able to reserve on Sunday March 1st from 11am to 2pm....

The Seattle Mechanical Keyboard Meetup is still planned for March 1st. We still have a room reserved at Starbucks, but they wouldn't let me reserve both rooms. Seattle Mechanical Keyboards Meetup - March 2015
Hello, A few days ago, I posted on Reddit to gauge interest in a Seattle Mechanical Keyboards meetup. It looked like at least 8-10 people were interested just based off that post, so I was hoping to start preparing some stuff. The tentative date I had in mind was Sunday March 1st, although this is i...
