Re: The Realforce Euro Tour - Round 4
Jou bought a keyboard from me, everything went perfectly and he is a very cool guy, perfect for deskthority ;) But I already vouched for Robpaulson and I don't feel that consolidated as a member of this community to vouch for 20% of the members in the tour. However I highly suggest a German speaking...

Do you know any Tenso-like service for Germany (to ship to Italy)
I'd like to buy a Soldering Station (to destroy some keyboards :evilgeek: ) from Germany, which I can't find in Italy for a similar (very low) price. So I'm looking for a similar forwarding service to send me the Soldering Station and to see if it actually is convenient or not. Do you know of someth...

Another find. Probably rubberdome, or maybe mechanical, can you recognize what it could be?

2x Clicky keyboards (should be hybrid mechanical, with Alps keycaps, from the documentation I found):

Re: (mis)adventures of a keyboard noob
Blue Alps are my favourite modern-ish* switches. (By modern, I suppose I mean "manufactured in the last 20 years"...) To be pedantic, they were last manufactured a bit over 25 years ago as far as I know. Fair enough! Thanks for the clarification. I should have written "20-ish". Don't worry, we're a...

Avid Apple Keyboard... It looks similar to the Apple keyboards with alps but probably it's just a rubberdome, can you confirm?

I'd like to try Topre for once, I'm located in Italy.
Also I exchanged some PMs with robpaulson and we're gonna have a phone call soon. So I can vouch for him, if everyone is okay with it .

I'm studying Vehicle Engineering and am currently part of a Formula Student team. We have quite a few students here, somehow that's odd with such a fairly expensive hobby, but I somehow expected it. That's why we are always after the super good deals! ;) That's awesome! I've read this book about Fo...

Re: What do you think about compact cameras? Should I buy an RX100?
I can't recommend starting with a manual lens. I got an old D100 and a third party macro (does that mean macro or zoom in Nikon land?) lens by Sigma or someone. It's a great lens and my photography buff friends can take great pictures with it, but I feel totally lost when trying to use it. It would...

Re: What do you think about compact cameras? Should I buy an RX100?
Yes and really good DSLR lenses can be quite expensive. So if you're going to get a DSLR check the general availability of lenses for that camera beforehand. There are often good third party lenses too. Or you could do it like me (and many others) who shoot with old manual lenses that fit on modern...

Re: What do you think about compact cameras? Should I buy an RX100?
Preface, I'm weird. My experience is that one gets either an D-SLR, but never uses it, because it's too bulky (and expensive) to carry around, or a compact camera, but never uses it, because it sucks. The good news is that keyboards are usually at home, with the camera, thus we can still take pictu...

What do you think about compact cameras? Should I buy an RX100?
Hi everyone, I know a lot of people here love photography and take awesome pictures of their keyboards. I also really like photography, I love nice photos, I like to take photos and I like camera gear. I actually studied photography for 3 years, so I have some technical experience, but unfortunately...

That's a G80-1000HAU, G81-1000HAU or a similar variant :) Nice doubleshot keycaps. If it's G80, it will be MX. Possibly NKRO, otherwise 2KRO. Definitely worth buying depending upon condition. Keycaps are worth around $100+ if in mint condition. Thanks for the good news, it's in its way to my house ...
