It's only 36 pages, shouldn't be too hard... I'm up to translate parts if i manage to find the free time. I'd suggest a shared document, where ppl can just paste the parts they did translate and an additional spreadsheet, where ppl can reserve pages to translate to prevent duplicates. Like this: htt...

Here's something similar with a Cherry G80-3000 [english and german text].

I like the idea to have a portable mini computer with a decent keyboard on hand.

Another addition to Halvars' answer he got from Cherry: H-Kennzeichen - It's a special car plate, that you can get by the TUV. It's used for oldtimers (20+ yrs) additionally to the age the car has to be in the original (or as close to as possible) state. Repairs have to be done using original parts ...

Or double sided Tape on a board, would probably be way cheaper and do the same thing.
Or build a wooden frame with a plexiglass front, with the switches sandwiched in.

I'm using cheap O-Rings from china, off of ebay on all my keyboards. I don't really like the dampened sound, but highly prefer the softer feel when bottoming out. It feels like it puts less strain on my finger joints when typing for longer durations. If all Rings are seated and pushed down by hand t...

http://geizhals.at/de/?fs=g80-3000&in=

geizhals (cheapass) has one of the best search engines, just make sure to use geizhals.at/de (atleast they used to have a different engine than the .de site, which was way better. Maybe they have changed this in the past, but better safe than sorry. ;))

Hadn't seen the humble hacker before, but i had seen your picture somewhere... The 2u keys are pretty stiff, i was thinking about taking out the springs or another mod. I'm still not using the keyboard, but today i'll find the time to install a x68 OS and finally get to it. If the space keys are too...

Tipro Layout

So, I bought a Tipro TMC-KMCV-C13-025 (16x8 Matrix, PS2), cause why not and i wanted to try a non staggered keyboard layout. So far i had no time to install a 32-bit OS, so i couldn't reprogramm it yet, that didn't stop me from thinking about the Layout im going to use though. This is what i came up...

You can use a metal screw aswell.
Screw it into the stem and slowly pull it up with pliers.

Just make sure the diameter of the screw is small enough, so the stem doesn't bend and sticks even harder.

The pen is mightier than the sword. I tend to remember things I've written by hand (as in with a pen) better than things I've typed. Possibly because penning something down takes longer so I reflect more on what I'm actually writing. This reminds me of the oft said 'People remember more from readin...

https://imgur.com/a/LyiGu This might be of interest to someone. The cases are almost the same, only little differences (like the rubber padding under the controller in the g81 and the opening for the cable). Other than those slight differences (which might be due to the age of the g81) it's the same...
