The thing is that everything was running smoothly until Yosemite struck. Guessing that there are some issues with the gpu drivers (or similar) for my model.

I don't quite agree, MX cap-compatible, sure, but can not be used as a drop in replacement. Thus, the NT switches are only MX half-compatible

Considering sanding down the plate of my bigfoot to get rid of the rust. The rust-proofing primer you've used seems like a good idea (why did IBM not rust proof their plates from the off?). What type of paint did you use for the top coat?

Forgot to get the camera out of my bag after the weekend. After carrying it to work I thought I could just as well grab a photo of my office desk and make it worthwhile.

Also, those damped Alps are rather quiet, appreciated when not having my own office at work. Guess my office mate would kill me if I brought a BS. He's rather annoyed by my MX Brown Ducky... But the feeling of BS is superior to MX IMHO.
