Re: New ThinkPad Trackpoint Keyboard II
KU-1255 is the best keyboard I've ever had :) It's just my fingers and me not wanting to spend more than $120 on a keyboard. And now it's showing it's age. I want (or even NEED) to replace KU-1255. I see that the new lenovo board is going to be out. With no wired connectivity. I'm a bit paranoid whe...

Ok, so I got the board. Some pics are here https://goo.gl/photos/7KqCgJS75drbLVKp7 . I've put some of my conclusions from a few days of using below. The scissor boards and laptops I use daily: - Lenovo X220 - MacBook Pro early 2015, 13 inch - Lenovo KU-1255 03X8715 - cheap Chinesse scissor board Lay...

this one will be used at home, and since I've got 3 small kids, I have very little time for leisure computing, max 3h/week. I'm using the lenovo 8 hours a day for a year or so at work. My fingers are very dry, so I've already "polished" most of the keys on it, but the mechanics still work fine. Bett...

Aliexpress scissor mini keyboards
Hi! After I've replaced a full MX blue board with a lenovo 0B47190 at work, I instantly fell in love with scissor type switches on for regular use. I want to get some other scissor switch enabled keyboard and I found this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Mini-Bluetooth-Computer-Speaker-S11-TF-Card-F...

Looks like this might be a dome board, but maybe only the numpad is dome-based. Look at the pictures here this: http://allegro.pl/klawiatura-logitech-k ... 83057.html

Well, there is a high possibility that someone will kill me, but hey, world belongs to the brave. I've got a question about Logitech K280e K290 keyboards. Does anyone know what switch type these boards have? Are those normal boring domes or scissor laptop/type switches? Best regards Still typing usi...

Dell Quietkey - which one to get?
Hi! The question stated above. I know about the wiki page http://deskthority.net/wiki/Dell_QuietKey You can easily get SK-1000REW with rubber domes, RT7D5JTW with domes with sliders is a bit more rare. I'm asking, since people are generally very satisfied with those dells and since you can get one c...

This machine would be the sweetest thing to play old dos games. 486 for DOS4GW titles was blazing fast. All the lucasarts titles, first UFO, flashback, warcraft 1... You might want to try putting a LAN card in that, trying some TCP/IP on DOS, than telnet onto some local linux box and use a text brow...

Hi! does anyone know anything about the switch type in this keyboard? I've googled a bit and found nothing. I have access to one unit, PS2, some european layout. I've had very medicore experiences with cheap Logitech and Repoo wireless keyboard+mouse sets. Logitech is a bit better, but still crappy if you would compare this to cheap wired corporate rubber dome keyboards. What I would recommend to look for are Fujitsu wireless sets LX390, LX901 and the like. ...

Hi! I'm looking for some el'cheap'o TKL keyboard for typing. So MX Blues or Ducky Green Alps is the way to go I guess + a custom wristrest. Keyboards that were cheap and not-so-bad are gone. I have CM Storm Quickfire Rapid and the Ducky XM 1087 on my mind. Are there any new models that are suprising...

Guys, since we get along so nice, I've got to settle one more thing: To be TKL or not to be TKL. Is the hand movement towards the mouse on the right that much shorter and faster, that getting a TKL is worth that much of a hustle? Or not? Some of you still use old terminal keyboards that have a big b...

Dear Oracle. I guess it is a good place to start by asking what keyboard should I pursue next. I currently use Lenovo 73P2620 and Fujitsu KPQ-E99AC-14 (this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFtSSXJ8D64). The first one has GREAT wrist comfort, the second is quite ok, especially with the key switch...
