I'm sorry Wodan, but I'm afraid I have to step back. I recently got my hands on a beamspring, which might not make me qualified for this. Good luck to everyone!

This may be too obvious but when you plugged in that keyboard for the first time, did OS X ask you to identify it by pressing the key to the right of the left shift key? Yes, it did! :D I finally managed to get things back to normal by actually pressing the ^ instead of the < key in the change keyb...

Model M on OSX

This is something I've tried to do for a while, yet I haven't figured out how. I'm currently using a Model M (ISO- Spanish layout) and I'd like to get the layout right. OSX does not let me use the <> key right next to the left shift key, and types ç instead whenever I press it. Besides from that, I'...

Hi guys, I've found these little gems: a couple of cherry keyboards (one of them NIB). However, I'm not so sure about the switches. They definitely look like MX whites, but I'm not so sure. As for the keyboards themselves, I was not able to spot them. Any help? :)

So I stumbled upon this in a house of some familiar.
Not NIB, but bought by her father and never used.
White alps and PS2.
Cable plastic not removed.
Found nothing in the wiki.
Any ideas?

I've seen this thread and I just wanted to ask a question, let's see If anyone can help me. I use a Model M on a OSX computer, but when the system is trying to identify the keyboard, it just doesn't work (takes ages). This is the main reason for me to have my function keys unable to use. Any help? /...

Thank you all very much! I will be trying MX Blacks soon! :D EDIT: I was about to buy it, and the seller asked me about why would I want this keyboard, and I told him about old mechs and all that stuff. Now he does not reply to my messages, so I suppose there is no sell. I feel like a complete idiot.

Seems to have MX Blacks. The MX blue version would have been a better find, since I've been wanted to try'em (1st time) for a few months. Is it worth for 10€? EDIT: Do you know where I can get a nice-working and cheap AT/ PS2 adapter here in Europe (if possible, in Spain) Amazon.com won't ship the 2...
