7bit, order #1044: it seems like it was shipped on Oct. 8, but it hasn't arrived yet (Norway). How long should it take? Can you find out where it is in the world at the moment? On Oct. 8 I got a "Details about your shipment" mail from Paypal with (lacking) information:
Shipper Not Applicable
Tracking number Not Applicable
Shipping status Order Processed
... on second thought, does "Order Processed" mean that it's not shipped yet?

You can send a PM with text "WASSUP" to CherryMX and be updated about your order.Ploppz wrote: ↑After sending a message to CherryMX, how long time does it take until I get feedback/confirmation?
Also, #1042 arrived safely yesterday! Thank you, 7bit! Will you by any chance be at Mechanicon in Darmstadt on Oct 1st?

After a week my switches still haven't arrived. I would be less bummed out had I not been so hyped the whole week, so it's kind of my own fault. I don't think I'm made for being involved in an actual group buy, I would not survive the waiting process.
Really hope something arrives tomorrow, this is taking oddly long for Germany-to-Germany shipping but it can't be helped, I guess. I should probably stop stalking the mailman.

Thank you 7-bit, my order arrived today, and special thanks for the special Cherry swag
Unfortunately, my 3850 isn't working, some keys seem stuck and no inputs are accepted. This is the image I'm greeted with:
It was well packed and looked new, but it's not new and it's not working. What do you propose I do?
EDIT:
I gave in to my curiosity and opened the board up which thankfully was easy without breaking anything.
I noticed that the area around the controller is covered in flux and kind of dirty, so it looks like someone tried to fix it before.
Also, I have found two keys that work. The volume up and down keys seem to work fine, while the mute key does not work at all.
Most of the time, the board just sends random inputs such as F1 when connecting it, then delete, insert, and 6, G, ´, F D... It spams these symbols and you cannot do anything unless you disconnect it.

Spoiler:
Apparently the new ones are not new. It must've been tested a few times because the plastic around the USB connector is pretty scratched up.7bit wrote: ↑G80-3850
I've got:
3 NIB (keyboard in plastic bag) shreebles, Kouni 1 available for 50 EUR, G803850LYBGB2N
shreebles: fully working (I assume he want one of the new keyboards)

This package arrived at the end. The only thing to remember is that it can take almost a full month till a package arrives. Even when the destination is in EU.
There was one more switch in the package. Some strange cherry type of switch. Sending it back is probably more expensive than the switch itself. Not sure what to do with it.

Feels linear and has a short travel distance.
Edit: Turns out to be a Cherry M9. Cool.
