A standard full size keyboard is designed for lefthanded with all the unnecessary keys to the right (numkeys) so you can get the mouse closer to you which is more ergonomic. ;) I guess you could put ...

It has the same problem as touch screens that you cover the displays with your hands. But if it was e-ink and cheap It would be cool but just as a smal feature not a usp.

You need to be patient if your going for a custom build. I think it's going to take some time before you have everything that's needed and then It's time to assemble it (the most fun part!). Patient as in the custombuild project are not done? No, they are not done. or they'll take take their time s...

The pock made me buy a Realforce and I'm always bottom it out, but I still like it. The collapsing dome just drags my finger down. MX browns makes me type softer and not always bottom out.

I found this datasheet of a newer version of the chip http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/113353/NSC/INS8060.html. Hopefully they are similar and has the same pinout. I think it's power and some sort of serial in the connector as there are only five wires. You could figure out how it wor...

How about combining the revers staggering board with the trackpoint board. Than we can put the trackpoint in the gap between G and H and won't have to use special key caps. This might make everyone happy or maybe no one :)

That sounds good. I have got a Filco and a Qpad (that I used as a donor board) and the Filco is defensively of higher quality. So now you can get a Rosewill, CM Storm, WASD, Filco or Das keyboard if you want a board made by Costar. Looks like the wiki needs to be updated.

Is there something special with this one or is it like a steel series or qpad? There seems to be many Cherry based, standard form factor, black keyboards available now days. Feels like you could just go for the cheapest one with the switches you like.

So just to be clear the HyperMini PCB will allow for an ANSI Winkeyless layout, 1.5x modifiers, but with 1x modifiers between them? Will there also be a plate that supports this configuration? Yes, the gaps can be filled with switches. How about the case, sir? I think it's important too. Cases for ...

The HYPERMINI/ISOWIN has no spaces between keys anywhere right? It's easier to make a nice looking case if the whole top is covered with keys like the Poker.

This means that you will please more than one category and some might start type softer and feel less stress on there hands. Personal...
