Put me down for one whole keyboard. I suppose the shipping of the whole board to USA will suck but it's still cheap enough probably to be worthwhile.

Most of the 31XX boards I have seen also have in switch diode for NKRO, so that makes it better and potentially more valuable too if it does. One can always transplant the PCB without the card reader part into a standard case body for a better all around '3000'.

Hmn... I might consider taking one of those off your hands ramnes. I've been wanting an older DE set without all the extra Alt Gr characters on it lately.

Why not Spanish? It's one of the largest used languages in the world. Also, it's one of the largest used languages in Miami so it fits in with the theme. I plan on continuing having various languages as a pad printing secondary. I've seen it's not feasible to do different languages as doubleshot add...

Don't worry about the Alt Gr, it was a render mistake on CMYKv2 it will be there as usual. That pack also has FOUR Caps Locks, just label as LOCK.

I had a Deko, it is black MX with DCS dyesubs. It works (mostly) as a standard PS/2 keyboard. To make it work fully you need a power supply for it, and to install a software bundle that is very hard to get from Pinnacle (unless you happen to have already some applicable registered products with them).

Those WEY boards are indeed pretty cool... it's just too bad they nearly are always sold without the required keyboard controller/KVM module so you can't use them. Finding the module to buy alone can be quite a chore.

Me too! I want a set of those.
Yes all the multicolor are pad print. Front printed may not have a clearcoat as it isn't really needed since they are not likely to suffer wear from being touched like the top printing.

I've seen some of the 1800 that come built in those 1u rack drawer have the BBCDDD too. I found it irritating to type on and why I got rid of my Compaq 1838 even though I loved it's all white color.

Chicony 5000 series can have nearly any kind of mechanical switch, Cherry MX, Futaba, Mitsumi, Aristotle MX clones, SMK, Monterey, Alps... the model number seem to mean absolutely nothing to identify as same number can have anything. US ANSI Cherry dyesub sets used to go for those really high prices. I suppose less people are that insane now days that you can get 98% identical sets from current production sources for under $130.

Collectors market can be tough with some things. Just because something is on the rare side doesn't automatically make it high value. Sure, some 'minority' language layouts are in very high demand for whatever reason, but others really are not and will get almost no notice. Now... if that NCR dyesub...

Looks like the controller stuff is on a separate daughterboard. That makes it a lot easier potentially to get it working as you could just pull that whole part off and replace it with something else easier to work with.

Yes, what I call gen2 MY switch. They used to have both black and white, which had different weight. I don't remember which is the heavier one. There is also the oldest ones (at least I think they are?) that had an even less frictiony slider that is like this http://deskthority.net/w/images/thumb/c/...

I've had one of those Honeywell boards before. It's domes that are very nice, thick, with a distinct tactile 'pop' (at least on the NIB specimen I had). It's assembly is kind of similar of IBM M with a molded 'barrel plate' with the domes sandwiched in between it and a membrane sheets over a concave...

Right, I would say that NCR about the same as I quoted on the Olivetti Portuguese board. That NCR is a very nice and fairly rare model, with the same 'con' that it's in Portuguese which doesn't seem to get the same kind of favor from collectors as other layouts. Quite attractive for Portuguese user ...
