Very nice.
Thanks for posting some photo's. I will have to open mine up one of these days and compare.
Need to check to see what the rivet condition is anyways. Typing feels good so I don't expect to be missing much.

New post [Keyboards] Zenith Z150 Key Chatter w/ Soarers - Help Thread
Figured out that I will need pin 6 for the reset pin here, but both virtual box and mingw64 are giving me trouble when attempting to compile on my machine. Looks like I will need to come back to this later.
As soon as I can get this going I will update this thread. Thanks again for the help!

New post [Keyboards] Looking for advice for HHKB topre switches
Besides a silence mod for the rgb, the other best mod you can do is add some gaskets between the plate and housings, takes away any remaining rattle and back to being a decent topre board

Nope, they made the stamper larger than needed. I posted a photo of the stamper a while back.

New post [Deskthority talk] Future of DT
I'm behind anyone who is passionate about this place, owning it. Whether it's Ellipse or boingball, a noble deed, self-interest, somewhere in between; I'd argue we'd benefit from either.

Thanks for sharing!
It's nice to have a mention of "Keyboard G" in writing. As stated in my wiki , early Model Ms made by IBM UK could sometimes say "Model G" inside, so I always presumed IBM originally intended to continue its previous nomenclature.
Perhaps alluding to the IBM Enhanced Keyboard

I think "Hyperscroll" could be a trademark belonging to Logitech. It may be better to say "free-spinning wheel".

New post [Keyboards] Any info on the Toshiba T1500?
Heya,
I fiddled around with some cpu watchdogs, but their pinout is just to wild. It kinda looks like a rat's nest if you solder them to the pcb. So I opted for an uC in the end.
I used an attiny45. I started at some nanoseconds for the reset delay, but 1ms was the sweet spot in the end. That's

New post [For sale] Model M industrial clicky keyboard for sale (Dallas, US)
Photos and proof of ownership
Was well-used when I acquired it, but I cleaned it, including hand-cleaning the caps. There's one tab missing (one of the tabs that holds the assembly in to the back case); it was like that when the keyboard came into my possession. The internal plastic rivets are intact.

Great minds, eh? ;)
As soon as he showed me the lack of space inside the box, I knew this was the perfect job for MX. I let him choose between linear and clicky switches. MX Green it was. Reassuringly clicky. Their audible feedback comes a half second or so before the motor kicks in, removing much
