New post [Keyboards] How to use Hasu's PS2 TMK on PS/2 with a pro micro?

I'm thinking you can use an inductor to prevent the bootup power surge from tripping the boot process on the pro micro.
I need to convert an IBM 5576 Keyboard with these pro micros for the IBM protocol, so it seems like there is no V1 variant in any of this.

Absolutely nice and unique old style caps.
Not complete but the main part is there - PCB, switches and the most of caps. So there is a change to repair it (the

New post [Keyboards] IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

Heh. I was thinking of the ITW switch when I suggested you to add the info yourself. Identifying an Alps clone is beyond my abilities, so far I haven't found a match in the wiki either. In a worst case scenario it will have to be filed as another unknown. :?

New post [Gallery] Representing IBM at a meetup

Yes to both questions. It's fairly straightforward as it's an AT-compatible device but with a specific PS/2 plug pinout - the mouse's passthrough pins are in the usual positions with the keyboard's clock and data through the two typically unused pins. I think IBM did this because they assumed the host

One day apart. That's awesome.
I have a feeling this part number had a very short run seeing we only know of two so far.

New post [Want to buy] [EU/DE] Alps SKFL Lock switch for Apple IIc keyboard repair

I got myself an Apple IIc. A nice machine in good condition. Upon cleaning the machine I realized that the shift lock switch of the keyboard (Apple hairpin type) does not lock. I desoldered the switch from the PCB and opened it according to https://deskthority.net/wiki/Alps_SKFL_Lock. The slider got
