I guess today I was lucky. I was able to obtain two keyboards with SWE/FI layout, which as always are a bit tricky to find. I was originally going to pickup just Model M, but then this guy also had Model F 84 key version in his shelf, which I was able to buy too after small negotiations..
Here’s some pictures from them as I got them.
Both in good / working condition. Have been unused for a long time. Got them from retired computer engineer, that kept them in his basement. Now I just need to figure out what I’ll do with these..
I have understood that this Model F version is a bit rare?

congratulations on those two really nice IBM classics! The Model F "AT" that you have there is certainly rarer than any model M, more so in SWE/FI layout! I´d say you were lucky. Both look really good.
Just use them! Possibly clean them if you feel the need. Now I just need to figure out what I’ll do with these..

AT's are quite sought after. I wouldn't call them rare, but a Swedish one is getting there! They're a very usable board, like the Model M only better built with a better mechanism, and native NKRO.

I would love the F!
But I manage to get 2 Model M and 3 Model M2 Buckling two weeks ago for ~80€ .
If you are going to sell the F i'm interested!
EDIT: Swe layout all of them.

Lol, I love living in nebraska but yeah. There isn't much in the way of old keyboards to find sadly.Muirium wrote:You're in the US, should be easy!
