Dear all,
We have finalised a date, time and place in London -
Date: Sunday 4th December
Time: 1pm - 4:30 PM
Venue: 90 Central Street, London EC1V 8AJ (St. Luke's Community Centre), in the dining room, which is the first room you see when you come in.
Four of us mods/orgainisers will be there, and will keep an eye on things, since the meetup will not be held in a private room, but in a space accessable by the public. Some vendors such as MechSupply/UKKeycaps, Pexon, Mechboards are coming. Some raffles and giveaways will happen
Us mods mainly hang out at our Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1028791307238170/), where you can request to join. I can answer you questions and hear your suggestions here if you prefer I manage the advertisement of this event, haha.
Thanks for the support, and I hope to hear from you soon!
oh, and I need to ask whether I should bring a bottle of hand sanitizer, and if you'd like to discuss the boards you're gonna bring you can do it here

I'm usually 500k away. But that day, I'll be 8000! Anyway, have fun with Chyros' stuff. Hopefully he's got a Kishsaver or a beamspring to show in my place.

I had just edited my post for that xD . But if you want to create a poll, that's even easier, I guess .

This is the stuff I have laying around that I can bring. I also have a few other random bits and pieces kicking around, Lil' Big Board, Apple Adjustable Keyboard etc.
What's the parking situation? I'm more likely to bring more of the fun stuff if I can bring a car...

I'm not sure about the parking spaces since I haven't been there myself, but apparently there are cars parked around. Will tell you when I have more information.HzFaq wrote: ↑This is the stuff I have laying around that I can bring. Since the event page can't be seen, I'll just type the info out again...:
4th December 2016, 13:00 - 16:30
St. Luke's Community Center, 90 Central Street, EC1V 8AJ
Nearest tube station: Barbican
Parking lots available (?)
It'd be nice if everyone uses a piece of paper to write down their keyboard details for each board and their usernames on different forums

Cool, I'm definitely coming . I've had requests to bring the Acer along (that one is definitely a given), and someone also mentioned Project L; are there any other requests?

Ey guys and gals, i inquired about the parking situation, and it's like this: "Its free parking on the street Sundays normally is pay and display" (with the bad grammer)
I recommend parking at a tube station and walking/riding a train here as another option!
@Chyros: bring your model f plox

They would of course, but it's a bit far to cycle even for a Dutchman xD .seebart wrote: ↑Just bring every single keyboard you own Tom! I doubt I'll be able to take more than three, perhaps four - don't forget most of my boards aren't exactly tiny 60% peanuts .

I know what you mean about the size & weight and I was kidding of course. You need show them Tesla Hall Effect Tom so they know "what the deal is". Also take that Zenith magnetic valve IMO. Of course I won't be there I'm just saying that's what I would take. And of course clean Alps SKCM blue.Chyros wrote: ↑They would of course, but it's a bit far to cycle even for a Dutchman xD .seebart wrote: ↑Just bring every single keyboard you own Tom! It's a mind thing. If you stop calling large keyboard "Battleship" or "Juggernaut", they will probably be much less trouble to carry around. Look at my WeyTec Snowflake and my Omnikey Beaver Tooth

It's tomorrow guys!!! Message from fellow mod:
Hi All, The meetup is now under a day and a half away! Looking forward to meeting you and trying some keyboards out!
However because this is a free community event it means that we have no budget for food or drinks. So if you would like some food or drinks please bring them along yourselves, but don’t feel you are obliged to provide, it’s a free event. I will be buying small selection of drinks which will likely go quick!
After the event itself we were thinking of making our way to a pub or a restaurant. We will choose on the day depending on how many people are interested as I know some people are coming a long way to be with us!
Me and PollandAkuma will be there on the day if you have any questions etc!
BTW, if you have a card or something to write information about your board on, bring it so that we know what board it is exactly
