Hi everyone.
An electronic store here in sweden are going to sell this keyboard:
http://www.teknikmagasinet.se/produkter ... nid-recore

Do anyone have more info on it? Seperate controller? Easy to mod? Stabs? Teknikmagasinet says it's going to have Nordic layout and wondering if anyone seen this in ISO and have a picture of it. The product picture is ANSI.

With most certainty this keyboard is sold in other countries with another name. Teknikmagasinet is a store that usually buy from OEM producers and put their own name on it.
Sincerely

65 Euros for a metal chassis MX red TKL? Not bad at all. There's likely a catch. And I would bet against separate controller. But you might always be lucky.

"Nordic layout" is presumably the same as Ducky's. So like this, I imagine:

Yeah, most companies do it like that to save money, the layouts for all the countries are almost the same. Why direct the sale on one market when you can have 4(5 with iceland?) ;).

I wonder how many mech keyboards there are in Iceland! Probably more than the Færoes, but probably less than in my town right here, and we don't even have a shop!

I would sat that 4 markets are possibly the most you could reasonably cover with a Nordic layout. The Icelandic differs by quite a bit, they do after all have some extra letters in their alphabet, as seen in this Icelandic layout stolen from wikipedia.

That board does look nice for the money though! At 599 SEK I might even be tempted to buy it just to try reds. From the second picture I would say that at least the spacebar seems to have costar-type stabilizers.

Lower case eth is my absolute favourite though!

I wonder why they don't put Ð on D, and Þ on T, so you could type them with Alt? But then whenever I look at ISO Return, I get the sense that some questions aren't ever to be answered.

Also, why does everyone else have µ and bloody ISO UK doesn't!? Gah.

I guess it's because Ð is about a abundant (ok, maybe not quite) in Icelandic as th is in English, so it would make sense to have a Ð-key :)

Regarding the mu, I would assume that it's only to annoy you :evilgeek:

This is my current assessment, too…

You're right about Ð. I just hadn't spotted the dedicated key for it on the layout picture. I still reckon an Alt Gr position for it awaits in "Nordic" layout, though, to open up the Reykjavik market for mechs!

Do anyone know what companies that make mechs on order. I know about costar, but I don't know anyone else.

That is ANSI with Nordic legends ... and there is no <>| key!

Good point! Crap caps, but a great (ANSI) layout for sourcing something better…

I saw that just seconds ago and was going to post it. Thanks for being faster findecanor.
I have thought of an ANSI SE layout, but I havent thought about where to fit the ">|<" keys. maybe as the english keyboards on ,. and | on _- key.
Really want to know if the controller would be replaceable. Then I'm interested. The price is the best selling point.

You could find the same one with blacks here:
http://www.banggood.com/Flashget-G600-W ... 78658.html

The price is better, and you get 2 keycaps sets. The main reason to buy the arachnid is the nordic caps(who's is terrible...)
but seems like out of stock...

And thanks Ivan.
