Hi everyone, I'm new to this world and don't know much but i found these 4 keyboards this morning and i'm sharing some pictures.

There is 4 Keyboards
- Cherry G80-0413 With ABS DoubleShot Keycaps, Vintage MX Black (I Think) and the spacebar has a grey switch I've never seen before.
- Cherry G81-3000LPNFR with thin abs and Cherry MY Switches
- Cherry G83-6102LPDFR with abs and rubber dome switches.
- Olivetti ANK 27-102 with RubberDome

Correct me if I'm wrong about the specs, I'm here to learn and I want to know more about this G80-0413 because i haven't found anything.

I think the g81 and g83 are lasered pbt rather than abs.

Regarding the g80, I think you can be rather certain that it's got vintage blacks given that it should be from the mid-80's. Not sure if you can convert it, but should be possible if you want to.

I think only really interesting one out of those is the G80-0413 (which is lovely by the way). The grey switch on the spacebar will be a linear grey which is pretty standard on Cherry boards that use MX blacks.

The other 2 Cherry boards aren't all that great (the G81 uses MY switches and has lastered caps, the G83 has some poxy rubber domes) and the Olivetti, whilst I think isn't a bad rubber dome board, is still a rubber dome board.

Nice finds though, looking forward to some more pictures.

The Olivetti is an excellent keyboard, not "just a rubber dome". It's definitely superior to any other rubber dome keyboard, and would be comparable to Topre keyboards in a certain way.

Obviously, the G80-0413 is very nice.

The G81 caps are lasered, but they still should be nice thick PBT, I used some of them for a long time and even if they're not really beautiful, they're very solid and nice to type on.

The G83 can go to the trash, in my opinion.

Bref, belle trouvaille. ;)

The G80-0413 "should" talk XT, so it might be convertible with Soarer's converter. I still have to test that on my G80-0449. There were also two similar boards on German Ebay lately, did anyone from here get them?

Et si jamais du envisages de te défaire du G80-0413, ne sois pas trop modeste

@kbdfr : Je ne compte pas m'en séparer car le feeling des touches et des switchs est vraiment sympa. Pas trop modeste c'est à dire ? $$$$$$$$$

Could you, by chance, get a measurement of the diameter of the G83 stem? They look awful similar to G86 stems (except G86 has a second, totally unnecessary anti-rotation lock) and I'd love to have another option for keys. I'm willing to wager cash that it's ¹⁄₄ inch.

If i understood correctly here is a picture and it's looks like to be 1/4 Inch : http://imgur.com/qixLWOL

More pictures of the keyboards, for now i'm just cleaning the keycaps, i will clean the boards tomorrow.

Thank you, that's enough evidence for me to risk money on a G83 board to raid for keys to use on a G86.
