That's the guy that sold them originally, I'm pretty sure they've been up there since the initial batch were found a few years ago, though obviously these ones are quite a bit more expensive...

Ah, I was unaware. Yeah, it looks like they've gone up a bit. I remember seeing someone (was it Damorgue?) asking about these on IRC a while back, didn't realise they hadn't gone anywhere!

Those boards had Futaba simplified linear. Look at that cruciform mount... does anybody know if they're MX compatible?

The switch has a non-uniform cruciform slider approximately 4.0 mm by 4.7 mm, with 1.2 mm wide arms, taking a 4 mm deep keycap stem.

Those boards had Futaba simplified linear. Look at that cruciform mount... does anybody know if they're MX compatible?

The beige keycaps will be Futaba mount (the Electron used the little Futabas), while the BBC keycaps (the black and red ones) are SMK mount, as you can see some angled SMK switches in the photo (too bad he's not selling the whole keyboard, as I mistakenly gave away my one and only non-Futaba Beeb years ago before I knew why the keyboard was different).

I don't think SMK switches are Cherry-compatible either.

SGI Indy, I think the keyboard is the ALPS version, I would love this little beauty, but shipping to me would be a killer. It's really a rare occasion to find such a complete package ...

It's an ISO version of my Unitek K 158! It could be used with a more sensible layout than the one I planned to adapt the US B.A.E..
The keyboard may be XT/AT switchable.

Just FYI: I just got the board in and it feels really flimsy, I guess all modern Cherry keyboards are that way, but the keycaps are nice, like new. Thanks again for the tip, crunch.

what kind of switch does the keyboard have?

Mine has black Cherry MX, and looking at the missing Escape so does this one - probably anyway, it's hard to see well. I've seen another of the K 158s with blue Cherry MX. But surely not buckling spring.
