Looks like it could be some slider over dome/membrane switch. Those are never any good, or at all interesting in other ways, to my knowledge.

Except the "Micro switch dome with slider" switch keyboard, this slider over dome is fascinating to type. It better than much more semi-mechanical keyboard, especially the "(Linear)Grey shell black slider with orange dome". I think it could better than model m if I can make it work and test on PC !

There are many rather nice "slider over dome" keyboards. For example, NMB slider with dome switches are very good for a rubber dome. BTW, Topre is also technically "slider over dome"

What's the blue switch ?

The top slider look like KPT switch Blue (rectangular slider) but the top was branded AE7.
And the bottom shell seems like the KPT-like switch but the base was differed the KPT switch and KPT-like switch.
I don't get any idea. Is the blue switch came with yellow KPT-like switches keyboard?
You should assemble this strange switch to see what difference it has.

Aha! I know this keyboard, it was made by Key Mouse Enterprises (KME). AFAIK, they are still making keyboards of the nastiest possible kind.

Those switches are definitely not genuine Alps. The keycaps must be fairly thick doubleshots.

BTW, there were also rubber dome boards using the same case and the same FCC ID. Those come with Cherry MX-compatible doubleshots. I have one set of such caps with pad-printed red Cyrillic legends.

The keycaps are regular thin alps mount doubleshots but the switches are exquisite. I need someone to hook me with a single blue alps so I have a something to compare them to.

When I find the spring from the blue one or move my ass to desolder another one I'll take more pics.

So nice, the blue one is more like the KPT-like switch inside!
Could you take out the two metal leaves and make two spring together to compare of them.

I think this blue switch should be the another one variant of KPT-like switch.
Many KPT-like switches have the numbering "AB" on the base shell and this blue variant marked "AB" on the base shell too. It should be the same family. Maybe this is the later variant of "KPT-like switch" family.

oh man, they're a pain in the ass to desolder because the pins are bent and then soldered. so 1 move turns into 3 moves (heat it, straighten it up, heat it again & suck it all up). I'll get back to you when it's done

It hard to desolder when the pins were bent.
1. Put the knife on the bent
2. Keeping heat the solder until the knife lift up the pin.(be careful the gun)

Found a Clevy Keyboard at a local market, a really weird keyboard with huge keys. Can someone help me identify the switches? It haves a really nice clicky sound

Generally you have to open up Alps clones to properly identify them, but in the meantime I'm going to guess Alps type T5 clone (they look very much like my own clicky T5s).

Hi there, keyboard novice here. Looking for help to identify a keyboard:

I found the perfect keyboard for me, but unfortunately it was in a pc pool of our university and I didn't note down the model. However I think, it might have been distinctive enough to be identifiable:

The layout was rather casual, i.e. not "large" like a model M
The keys were distinctively "high", like the keys on this board, but even higher:

It also featured integrated LEDs on the numlock and scroll lock keys , like these:

iirc, the brandname was hewlett packard, but I guess, that doesn't say too much....

the "hewlett packard"-brand was the least significant bit from my description .... ^^

To sum it up:

• "normal" form factor (i.e. NOT large like a model M)
