No talking indeed, but boring music all along lengthy sections about presentation, unboxing (!), showing the keyboard, dismantling it and the like.

Why not simply start the videos with the ~50 seconds interesting part, i.e. the announced sound test, instead of putting all that other stuff at the beginning?

Plus, and more importantly, there is no information whatsoever about how you conduct your sound tests. Consistent test conditions? Recording studio or simply your work space? Is the mat which can be seen underneath the keyboards (except for the IBM Model F XT, by the way) made of sound absorbing material? What recording equipment do you use? Do you use (as it seems) different microphones?

Thanks for sharing the channel.

You seem to be using SM57 for at least some of your videos. I've also recorded all the my typing videos with it. It's not ideal but it's all I have so that's my excuse. The mic gives a boost starting at about 3kHz; that's very well suited in bringing out some harsh qualities in things like keyboards - clicks sound bit too sharp compared to reality and that sort of stuff. The mic works wonders for vocals, guitar amps and snares and stuff like that pretty well, but I'd consider something else for keyboards if possible.

But as has been said, the best microphone is the one that you got pointing at the sound source when needed.

Nice production value. I like the little tour of the keyboard before you start with the sound test. Lots of chapter markers in the progress bar if folks want to jump forward. Not everyone is familiar with these keyboard models, etc.

Thank you all.
Will take these constructive critics and make sure the mics and deskmat used in the videos are noted in the future videos! Still learning my way and I make sure to adapt in each videos. @kbdfr, I will keep the presentation parts because some people are interest by that part (i am). If you want to skip it, there's markers ;) Some are less familiar with these boards and want to see them for fun or before buy them. And the music is purely accessories.

Love the SM57 when I got to record precise switches sound. Really directional, it show the good and the bad of each switches. But your right, there's better mics out there!! That's the best I could afford for the moment and it serve me well so far. But yeah, at first, I used a much cheaper mic, which I changed few months ago.

Will continue to improve the channel, it's a lot of work... I do my best!

Thanks Guys!

Sweet sounds from that one. Amazing to see that keyboard and consider it belongs to a "portable" system.
