The IBM SSK is such a great keyboard, but there is only one person selling it. is anybody willing to sell/know about a listing for an SSK for $200 USD or less?
This is a repost because the old one was just talking about the word "based."

Look, man. Judging a person by their username is pretty low tier etiquette.snacksthecat wrote: ↑Why is Cherry garbage btw? What factors have you based that on?

cherry isn't actually that bad, I just couldn't think of a username. The only problems I have with cherry switches are that they are very scratchy and have lots of key wiggle, and that some of their switches have basically no feel to themsnacksthecat wrote: ↑Why is Cherry garbage btw? Increasing the number of threads won't make sellers magically appear. If you're serious about this, you have to have patience, and just bump this thread periodically in the future (once every few days, say). If you're lucky, you'll get your keyboard. Just like the rest of us.

It took me 2 years to get a blue Alps keyboard (back then they were rare but cheap, today they are much easier to find but much more expensive).
Waiting a year and a half I eventually got a great deal on an SSK from Cindy.

Yep, when looking for sought-after used keyboards, diligence and patience are required. It might also be necessary to settle for a keyboard that is in relatively bad shape and yet salvageable.
