Bei den meisten Linux-Systemen bekommt man mit shift+altgr+s ein großes SZ... Scheint sich als Quasi-Standart etabliert zu haben. Ich hätte es aber eher wie die Schweizer gemacht und das ß ganz abgeschafft.

The 3733 is not compatible to the 3731/3732. It uses slightly different registers to store the led enable and PWM values. So there are at last some changes needed for the code writing the PWM values to the 3733. AFAIK there is until now no firmware supporting the 3733. I started to writing some code ...

Last time I ordered diodes at mouser.de No need for a business to open an account. But high shipping costs for ordes below 50€. When ordering ONLY diodes, I think, ali express or ebay is the best to minimize shipping costs...

For my PCB with RGB LED support, I plan to use throug-hole-LEDs like those available from Zeal PC (https://zealpc.net/collections/accessories/products/4-pin-rgb-led-through-hole). They have 4 pins, a common anode, and a cathode for each color. That is the same pinout as for the smd RGB LED from the ...

Looks like LEDs with common anode. Should be no problem to wire them as in the documentation. Just think of the one VCC pin as three pins.

I do not know the layout of the ergodox pcb. But for my handwired keyboards, a matrix scan works like this:

All pins connected to columns are configured as inputs with pull-up resistor activated. So input is read as high for now.
All pins connected to rows are configured as inputs with pull-ups ...

Maybe you can provide a better picture from the three switches you unsoldered the LEDs from? The red marked ones. The LED holes look somewhat dirty, maybe there is some solder left and causes a short.

Also, where is the ISO key down by the Z? It isn't anywhere else so it seems to render any of the ISO kits useless as you'd be missing a key next to your shift!

Meine Erfahrung mit dem Zoll:

Please consider an international kit. This color scheme/theme looks very nice and for me personally and a couple of other people investing 200$+ in a keycap set without proper language support is a no-go.
