This sounds like a pretty cool feature to me, especially if you could tweak the force in software.

Does that include automation industry and the military? Because they fear a lot, and went a long way to be less afraid. Consumer-grade stuff doesn't use such precautions, and not without a reason.

You need to have a "universally accepted paradigm" to be able to describe an "anomaly" against it. Without a prior system, there is no anomaly.
