Good job! I imagine this being a pretty common problem, so this solution is one to keep in mind!

It says "missing 2 keys ", but I believe there are four keys missing (f8, f12, and the * and 0 keys on the numpad).
The f8 was probably a regular colored one, but the other ones might be hard to replace :(

Although I love a good summary, I couldn't help myself but read all 22 pages:P The only question I have is whether there is a possibility to still connect this keyboard to an old ps/2 port? I have two computers, one old and one new, and really want to use one keyboard for both the computers. No, yo...

Well, after reading all 22 pages, all I can add to the conversation is a compliment. It is very impressive to see a single person's idea develop into such a great community project!

Well, I will order some FEXT prototypes together with the FSSK. They even have a pad between the ALT and the CONTROL, right and left side. Lets see if it works as good as the FSSK does. I'm going to spend the next few hours reading up on everything there is to know about the FSSK and FEXT, and I as...

A lot of time has gone by since this topic was active, but I believe there still isn't a solution to this problem. I do believe 5KRO or 6KRO would be good enough for most users, but the 2KRO must be keeping some people from using their Model M's completely irritation free. The solution is the FSSK ...

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this topic! This is the kind of stuff you don't read about on most other wiki's (and it probably will take a while, and a lot more research, before it will be added to the deskthority wiki:P). Anyway, about the initials, have any of the names ever been tracked do...

I don't think I ever had the Winter one. Maybe once, but I don't remember it. While most small corner shops stock between one and three kinds of Mate these days, Winter Edition was never one of them. Mate isn't available in the stores around here, so my friends and I buy through a wholesale busines...

I too really enjoy most of the (Club) Mate related drinks, with the 'winter special' as my favorite. I also really like a good cold glass of root beer though :D
