I remember he elaborated in his miniguru thread about finding the right trackpoint supplier. Should be somewhere in there. Should be a good one. The early IBM Model M13 versions are very good, I didn't like trackpoints before I used that one. You won't use it for photoshop or gaming, but when you'r...

If theres enough interest for an alps board, where would the alps come from? EDIT: Mathias? Did they ever say a price? His geek hack thread stated: "Price will be $100 for a box of 800 switches (12.5¢ per switch.)" He later also said there would be an option to buy ~100 switches at a time. I don't ...

I like webwits layout, but whats the point of 2 spacebars? Id get it with normal spacebar and no tracking point and volume thing and buttons. What you favor is a HHKB with extra keys to fill out the space on the bottom row. I like that as well (HHKB3?). The point of two space bars is to make one of...

Honestly, this HyperMini Hack looks interesting. What is supposed to be on the keys on the bottom? The ones with a square on? I definitely need modifiers for Neo, if Capslock is not where it usually is, and if I could somehow program these keys to work as a Neo modifier… On the other hand I don't r...

I cant think of any TKL keyboard with a stepped caps lock, sorry. Either way, lots of people (if not most) replace the original keycaps with custom ones. Stock caps are most of the time low(er) quality. The most customizable keyboards are probably the ones that are made by the community: Phantom, KM...

Ok well, Imsto sells some very nice keycaps for an ok price. (thick pbt ones). They come (or some packages come) with a stepped caps lock and a flat caps lock. The stepped caps lock doesnt work on all keyboards (does work on Cherry ones but probably not on a TKL Filco or CM) but you can mod it as sh...

Probably never going to get a full USB mod on this board. Well, I would he happy if I could get this working: Any idea where I could get a PSU for this? Also whats the name of the cable I need so I can connect the AK124 to it. I contacted Amulet hotkey, support team replied to my emails but the sale...

Watch it be reds or blacks. (But, seriously, if it's browns or blues or similar, this is a good thing. Even if it's crap build quality, it'll get people to like the switches, and it'll mean there'll be another model of keyboard that's on display in stores, so we can refer people to a store to try o...

I've use 2 acer boards (black and white switch if remember correctly).
Both boards where in full-time use for a week.
It was awful.

I could do the work, the problem is that I am stacked up with projects already, and I would probably need half a year or something for a project like this. Also, I am actually more interested in getting a keyboard like this myself, and mod it for my own use... and make a good description on how to ...

There are still a few around, a seller on taobao (which I think is the only user ever that sold those boards, unless attarian didn't get mine from him) still has some for sale. Ill PM attarian to ask if he can get more. I aslo have 4 of those KMD3 things that should make the board work out of the bo...

Looking for handyman to mod G80-9009HAU
Hey guys, I just purchased a G80-9009 from attarian and it's my dream to get it working with my PC. You might already know that the keyboard consists of 2 PCB's (1 for the "basic" keyboard and 1 for the extra keys and the F keys) I'd like to have the "basic" board working with my PC and the extra ke...

You can host both ssl and non-ssl. Non secured would be the default.bhtooefr wrote:But others may stumble on an https link and NOT be aware.

I've seen RTS gamers play and they bash their keyboards - blacks aren't that nice for that in most people's opinions as they are quite heavy. Reds are extremely nice for the job tbh, you'll be bashing your keys while playing and reds guarantee the fastest keypres. also, its either Switch or Keycap, ...
