That is indeed a genuine blue alps board, i believe the T9102 vs t9104 vs t9103 (I think there might be a t8 number as well) are just some kind of factory code, but they seems to all be extremely similar. Some come with white alps, some come with pad printed caps, some come with doubleshots - ideall...

Well, not literally, right? I mean, at the very least, people used these at work all day in the late 70s and early 80s, yeah?

If you can remove a keycap you should try. It either has white switches or blue switches. In the latter case you've got something on your hands worth a few hundred bucks!

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
Any ideas? Bought in on impulse, worried it is f&f, already opened refund even though it was only $15 (albeit with $30 shipping and $10 import). Did you really get it, cause I've got it in my hands right now?? 16023456581633780495259905357478.jpg He said he opened a refund, haha. BTW I believe that...

i believe it's material differences - slider/housing material specifically. Also second gen switches come with short switchplates too. Springs are different as well.

Oh absolutely. Yellow alps are a gen 2 alps switch, whereas greens are gen 1. Quality of gen 1 switches are typically better than successive gens.

[FS] Epson AT board with SKCL browns
Selling my epson board with 9+/10 SKCL brown alps! For the uninformed, SKCL brown are a heavier linear first-gen alps switch, and are quite rare! This board has switches in damn-near 10/10 shape, but I know it's not NOS because there is a bit of shine on the keycaps. Here are some pics of the board:...

i dunno that 85 is that much of a low ball, I wanted to try and get it for around $100 after shipping. I personally don't feel there is anything wrong in setting a budget and trying to stick to it. Certainly not a "just because" for me in this case, though I do that a lot with other things. if the s...

all sold! thanks, everyone! SOLD: 1. aluminum VA68M This originally had MX clears, but I desoldered them (along with the LEDs - so no more white backlighting) and replaced the switches with NK Silk yellow switches. This was mostly just a project to test out silk switches and try this layout. It was ...
