Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

Update - Pulled the spacebar and there is a sticker underneath confirming it is a Datasaab keyboard (Type E00101 0100). Switches are Clare-Pendar SF 5101 (magnetic reed). After seeing it in person, I am confident somebody took an old Datasaab keyboard, desoldered the switches, put them in a strange...

Re: Are Kailh BOX Thick/Royal switches safe for keycaps

I thought that since the last update from October the problem was resolved.
Last question: I presume the problem is present on the whole line of box switches, is that correct?

Are Kailh BOX Thick/Royal switches safe for keycaps

I am considering replacing switches in one of my boards to Box Thick or Box Royal switches, but I not sure if the problem of too big tolerances of mx mount was resolved (I don't want to destroy the keycaps).

Can anybody shed a light if the issue with the switches was resolved?

Logitech Cordless Desktop Pro (mouse + keyboard + usb 1.0 reciever)

Is anybody interested in Logitech Cordless Desktop.

Wireless keyboard (RF), wireless mouse (RF) and usb RF receiver is working fine, but first time paring is bit unintuitive.

Even without LEDs (lock lights) and with Polish font, keyboard is worth 45 euros? It is quite surprising, I was under the impression that terminal (young) ibm model m fetched about 30 euros at max.

Thanks for the tips my old Nicon D3200 should be good enough, my skills probably not.
I do not have access to remote flashlights, but I probably can find studio lights in the office of one of the co-workers - should work fine for lightning the scene.

I bought keyboard from http://allegro.pl/klawiatura-mechaniczna-i7233714960.html , sadly the sticker was faded away, but board outline was strikingly similar to IBM model M shape. Not because of the foam but because of the springs, some are lighter than others, some are heavier than others, some are almost silent, some are audible.

It is really weird experience, keys are very light and spring sound is inconsistent around the board, also I think that travel distance is smaller than in normal IBM model M.
