I looked forward to this, but between $115 and $120, with shipping and VAT applied, for just a PCB... I mean the silkscreen print is nice and you get the split spacebar... but nope, I don't think so.

I paid about $75 for two Falbatech GH60's, with VAT and shipping ...

Could very well be that way, because when you look at the first pic I posted there clearly are some novelties. I suppose it wasn't the most technically minded person who handled the communication from MaxKey's side, like you said.

I've used SEPA, and I'm from Sweden, so I've done it with a different currency, the bank just converts the money and send it in euro instead. As far as I know it should work from UK too, good luck

OK, zslane and Wodan, you couldn't have known that I already knew about the differences between a 'legend plate/insert' and a whole new custom mold for a new key size and/or shape and the huge difference in cost between them. I understand that it might be necessary to explain that to other people ...

Yeah, I thought it sounded weird too, just "reporting" what I've read. He specifically used the word mold, but that could just as well be a hasty translation by Ryu given that he conversed in Chinese with the MaxKeys representative. I suppose that they just want to discourage custom key production.

When I was lurking the /r/mk discord a few days ago, I read that MaxKeys isn't that keen on making custom keys. Ryu got quoted 60 000 CNY + 500 MOQ for 12 extra keys outside MaxKeys normal 119 or 127 keysets, the MOQ got lowered to 300 later on though. Then when he went on to ask about novelties he ...

I must say that I like these centered icon mods much, much more than the newer left aligned ones on geekhack. The new icons are nice, but the alignment... not so much.

Hey everyone. I managed to make an order and revieved an invoice. I'm in EU so SEPA seems to be the way to go. Only problem is that SEPA seems to require a physical address for the recipient, and I couldn't find it in the invoice. How to proceed? :)
No, SEPA needs only the Name of the recipient ...

Just FYI it seems like that if you cancel part of your R7 order with the discount applied to it, you lose the discount for the whole order, at least that what happened to me. Maybe it's just a temporary hiccup and it might soon be fixed, but as usual, 7bit isn't the fastest to reply.
