That bottom board is so lovely - I wonder if it could be converted. But even for use of the caps, I find it quite nice.

I didn't keep track of this thread, but I've been using this resource for a while now and came here to say my thanks for maintaining it.

Wouldn't that involve you mean to harvest the switches to use separately? For the shape this is in, it'd be lovely to see it cared for in its complete form.

I will be looking to use one of these to restore a 3278, so I very much look forward to it. I will be sure to support you and the rest of the team's work when a solenoid controller is ready. In no rush but very glad that this is moving forward nonetheless.

Absolutely amazing work done here. QMK support for Beamspring is a godsend. I have been waiting a very long time to restore mine and this is a great time to grab a controller.

@pandrew / @tentator - I'm looking to flash my F62 to QMK. Any instructions would be appreciated as I understand that it is currently in its beta form. I also hope that you guys will consider porting the F62 and F77 over to VIA as well ;)

I'd probably be in for a Beamspring controller and two solenoid drivers, but I'm a bit surprised at how expensive the Beamspring controllers are.

Pretty cool build! So I'm actually noticing something about the plate. In this photo:

and when looking at the MK.com plate, it looks like an ALPS housing would struggle to fit at the stabilized positions (Shift, Enter, Backspace...)

QMK for the New Model F would be fantastic -- assuming that we won't have issues with the voltage threshold concerns that are occasionally brought up by users every now and then.

That sounds right if you are trying to get the accurate legends for all of the HHKB layout keys.

A great find -- really too bad that these are for rubber dome switches and not MX.
