Since I never had the chance to try the space invaders, I'd say the Unknown best fits the description
Also, being able to simply connect it to a PS2 port is a huge benefit as I have no idea how to convert the other ones.

I finally opened my present :-D https://i.imgur.com/DHQdAxp.jpg It's an Alps starter pack and it made me very happy. Most of the keyboards I had the chance to try were either Cherry or Buckling spring, so Alps switches are very welcome. To make it even better and noob friendly, they are already modi...

I'll wait at least until the week before Christmas. I'm too busy at work right now to properly enjoy...

It works even better with headphones, I found out. You can crank the volume up and still be able to see when someone is calling you because keyboard lights will act upAMongoose wrote: ↑What if I listen to music on headphones?

It's similar but not the same thing. Chyros never reviewed the XMIT Hall effect board but he did film a review of a board very similar to XMIT round 1. That keyboard was produced by the same Chinese company that XMIT used to outsource production, so in effect, it's a XMIT round 1 keyboard without al...

One of a kind M-122. End game conversion already included. Price is currently low considering the value for the real connoisseurs, but it's guaranteed to go sky high. http://www.ebay.de/itm/Vintage-IBM-Model-M-1395660-122-Key-Mechanical-Terminal-Keyboard-Clicky-1985/202063626905?_trkparms=aid%3D2220...

Need help from a Parisian
Hi,
is there anyone from Paris willing to do a local pickup (not a keyboard but a small Hi-Fi amplifier) and help with sending the stuff to Croatia? I will, of course, send the money in advance so you don't have to risk anything buying the thing.

[Help needed] Interesting typewriter models
After much talk and ebay listing spamming on DT Telegram channel ( https://t.me/deskthority ), we decided it would be very useful to pool all the little bits of knowledge from everyone's heads into a single thread, later to be transferred to a wiki page. The idea is to have a single resource listing...

The question is, what are we trying to achieve? I think a database is an excellent idea. Our current wiki is a great resource, but sometimes one just can't find the exact model since an entry doesn't exist or is buried somewhere in the old threads. Here is what I would consider a great finished thi...

Hi, I just stumbled upon an interesting vintage mouse. The post is in Croatian, but it doesn't give any details anyway. If anyone is interested, I can act as a proxy. The asking price is 50 HRK (6.75 EUR) + a small postage amount (2 EUR ?) + whatever postage is needed to get it to your place. http:/...

This sale is one wicked idea. I am currently hanging from the top of the rabbit hole, barely finding strength not to let go, and you propose to clobber me on the head not with one, but with three perfectly lethal boards. I have grown up knowing that old IBM keyboards are the thing. Later I learned t...

Ok, after realising that the rules of contest require others to actually like my selection, and seeing how I have zero experience (owing to the fact that I still own zero mechanical keyboards), I am forced to shamelessly steal from other peoples posts, thus securing at least a diminished chance of g...

Hi, I have another noob question. Is it possible to make the Soarer's converter out of Arduino? I noticed that everyone is opting for Teensy but I was offered an Arduino Due as a gift and was wondering if I can make Soarer's out of it. I recently found two XT keyboards and would like to use at least...

Hi, Deskthorians. Does anyone have an idea what the keyboard in this old thing could be? It's an old Philips P2000C portable computer that I have a chance of buying. However, I do not have the space for it and would mostly be interested in the keyboard, if it could be of any use in more modern syste...
