Does that Hachi Roku have Irish plates? Also, these purple switches look interesting. I'll probably buy a bunch for a JD40 sized board so I can check them out. I just realized that this post contributes absolutely nothing. I am however posting it anyway.

Thanks Halvar but I checked there first. Since I'm looking at the "cream" colour, I suppose the answer is "no"?

Sorry if this is threadcrap or a redundancy, but I can't quit my job in order to read the 7800 posts of this thread. Are there no Dvorak kits for 5a?

(again, sorry if this has been addressed).

Is there an updated render for ANSI 150 with the stabs mounted directly on the plates? I just want to be sure this thing will fit. Also, would it be possible to have a hole in the back that lines up with the teensy 2 button? I'd rather not take the whole thing apart for reprogramming. Any thoughts ...

Sarcasm? I was actually going to comment on how terrible retro looks. Those awful thin legends... I'm really glad I didn't get those.

The small piece screwed on the bottom would be my preference. I wouldn't want the entire case to be tall just to accomodate the small little controller.

@7bit
This is a good suggestion but EUR conversion to CAD + shipping to here sort of kills it.

@dirge
Do you know how bad the fitting issues are? The case looks good and the price is right but I've heard the fit absolutely sucks.

Re: Round 4 / in production / leftovers for sale!

I got the SPH set with the Dvorak kit. My Phantom is hardware Dvorak and has Control mapped to Capslock. I'm looking for a blue case at the moment. Hopefully I'll find one before the keys arrive.

Re: Pros and cons of the Phantom style plate?

My only con for the plate is that it is possible to pop the top off the switch while changing caps. Its not a big deal [only ever happened to me once and simply reassembled the switch] but you need to be a bit more careful than on keyboards with a traditional plate. Keyboard campanies would have n00...

When a PCB is made for several different layouts chances are that it's gonna have more holes than a piece of swiss cheese. I'd definitely use a plate for added stability but 7bit is gonna know better than me obviously.

Unless you have already been a GH member for quite some time, I doubt the mods will allow you to post a GB. I have seen many people have their GB threads closed and locked for having too low a post count to start a GB. May I suggest working with a long time GH member to get the buy going over there?
