As far as I know, Norbauer is working on a case for the Pro 2.

Pity HHKB never bothered to pay Norbauer to use his design for their latest releases. I'm hoping they will in the near future.

Then watch this keyboard sell like hot-cakes on a cold morning ;) .

Here is the finish. It doesn't seem as aligned and textured as the originals, but I don't mind it's not exact too much. However, there is a small blemish that's annoying and won't come off. https://i.imgur.com/MYP0ihA.jpg Does the paint flake away from the surface? Maybe stick some sort of sticker ...

Re: Cleaning ALPS switches with Dent tabs vs ultrasonic?

Denture tabs are mildly abrasive, contain some H₂O₂ and are mint-scented, so they are not 100.00% safe, no. Every cleanser has a chemical that might affect certain plastics, otherwise with no chemical cleanser, nothing is washed at all by only using plain H₂O. You have to use something to remove an...

YES, the Black Inks are certainly nicer with typing but as I am a confirmed Tactile/click addict still won't buy this model at all. I did put in an order with NovelKeys for their Gateron Blue Ink Switches. So when that arrives I'll see if this switch truly eclipse's Cherry horrid Blue switch design....

Re: Possible Unicomp SSK

I'm unimpressed with Unicomp's current offerings and will always prefer a 1987 Model M to a modern Unicomp. The molds are getting old, the quality just isn't what it was. Yes the old full sized 104 keyboards, are getting too old now. But they are still far superior in feel to any of Razer's expensi...

I'd love to do a fairly mainstream keyboard with dampened tactile switches. I'm trying out some BOX Royals right now and am enjoying them. If you got them from a reputable seller they are the revised stem version and will not harm your caps. There are sellers that still sell the old switch, but if you get it from novelkeys or somewhere like that you should be good. Correct, have now bought all my latest BOX switches from Novelkeys and...
