Re: Akko Haze Pink Silent

The switch isn't lubed in any way? All new style of plastics being used here, who knows...... at least they won't need extra lube applied (cheap cost). My kids would love this switch, simply because they can type for hours without getting tired (small hands and fingers). Unlike me. I would throw the...

Dear Chyros, You can attain a grip by using Mouse Tape which there are a huge variety, giving you various textures for your liking and can easily be applied to your 'Knob'. You don't like compacted 1800 layouts, which I adore. Not bad keyboard, but it sounds like some kind of membrane like keyboard....

It never stops. Keychron. When it rains variety, it storms down with this Manufacturer. They know what to offer here, VARIETY because most people out there want something a little different from their keyboard. I'm personally addicted to this Manufacturer, particularly all their swap over switch bas...

Re: Model F Labs F77 Ultra Compact - Digital Foundry

Yeah, the F77 series missed the boat on popularity here. Too few, too expensive, and relying upon ancient hardware like switches here. STILL all made in Chyna. Let's get the facts straight here, selling expensive old age like keyboards, really belongs in Ebay-ville, the home of rip-off artists and s...

Just noticed your review and sure enough put in an order for the same one as what you've received. Dirt cheap price at $129.99USD, something unheard of in the Hall Effect world where certain manufacturers are busy raping everyone for $300+ ($400 to $500 Convict Currency). Thanks for reviewing it des...

The Germans left the building, right enough, but it was still in pretty good shape all the way back then. It's how we Convict's take the PISS on manufacturers that FIRST produced the MX style of switch :evilgeek: . Amazing how the MX design went FREE and out of China you get this style of switch. Just goes to show, whilst the Yanks are screaming about the dominance of the Chinese, they actually produce the decent gear we all love here in the West. There's more to come in the MX realm when you leave it to the C...

I bought 3 of them in Black, Blue and Silver Grey. Just love their look, I went with their standard complete models with inbuilt Brown switches and complete key-sets. Decent review here, Mr. Chyros. You mentioned the price, and its thin appearance, and that is what's known as the 'Keyboard Style'. Your point on yellowing is an interesting one. People in the conical keyboards discord are actively seeking yellowed pro 1s and early 2006 pro 2s for their yellow cases and extremely snappy domes. Unlike a lot of boards from a similar era, yellowing somehow suits the pro 1 and 2. It's yellowing bec...

I'm fine with making a case for a TKL or another version as well. Nothing wrong with a standard TKL layout. Doesn't have to be just the full size. What makes the HHKB killer, for me, is the 60% form factor. Grossly inefficient on every level. * I'd really like it if this was a TKL. If it's still made in all ABS Plastic casing, it's still an expensive junkware keyboard. Using the most cheap kind of plastic on an expensive price tag, why? OG Cherry profile caps are some of the very best out there. BST done caps in PBT. ALWAYS the very best example. Gave up on the ABS GMK rubbish, they just turn into slippery junkware caps, eventually. Because the tall caps vs. low caps feel change is (psychologically) real. 100% Correct. Have always hated low profiled key-caps. Chyros, you should have replaced those boring pedestrian junk-keys, with some decent SA PBT action all the way. At least it would have looked appropriate for the time period. Never liked plain Jane key-caps on an older styled keyboard. Doesn't work and mainly helps demean the overall design here. Al...
