Re: UK Meetup - London | 28th November 2020

Good news everyone! The venue has confirmed the meetup has been moved to the November 28th (the date which won the vote). If you have already bought a ticket – its valid for the new date. Please don’t refund your ticket unless you know now you can’t make this new date – if you find you can’t make it...

Re: Postponed - UK Meetup - London | Vote on new date

Important meetup news posted to the MKUK discord: These are unique and uncertain times. As I’m sure it has become apparent, the London meetup on the 28th March is not going ahead. We want to keep you all as safe as we can; and it would be irresponsible to hold the event in the current climate The re...

Re: UK Meetup - London | 28th March 2020

Update that was posted to our discord: Planning continues on what is set to be the keyboard event of the year but we thought we’d take this time to address some concerns. Obviously, we are acutely aware of the COVID-19 outbreak and its potential impact on the event. We have no intention of cancellin...

Re: M0110 Bits for restoration

Status update! I have a locking caps lock and working N key. Replacing the locking lug kindly provided by swampangel was a bit trial and error but got there eventually. The "N" key I just opened up, gave a clean and replaced and it seems to be working fine now (It was double pressing sometimes, but ...

[WTB] [EU-UK] Apple Extended Keyboard II UK Kecyaps (will consider complete board)

I'm planning on building a board (cyclopse PCB) that uses the AEKII ISO layout but I'm missing the keycaps.

Ideally I'd like to buy either an incomplete set or an old beaten up board with the caps as I don't like the idea of desecrating a board that's in really good condition.

Re: M0110 Clear Case

I heard back from the seller they said:
I received it from someone overseas - I believe the case did not come from Apple.
Looking at it, and the finish, lack of blemishes, channels and size of it, I don't think it's SLA printed, or if it is it would have been a hell of a lot of work.

M0110 Clear Case

Have any of you seen this? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283572577249 I can't find any info about it. I know that apple made some of their macintosh prototypes clear, but I haven't seen any keyboards like it, and I haven't seen any transparent original (128/512) Macintoshes using finished (or nearly fi...

M0110 Bits for restoration

Hi, I recently traded this M0110a for this M0110 . Unfortunately the M0110 has a few issues. One of the many previous owners has removed the lock switch locking mechanism (as per this post) and removed the 4P4C (RJ10?) port to make space for a teensy. Also one of the keys only works intermittently. ...

I really like that, It reminds me of my logitech k810 which I bought for £30 instead of getting a £100 crap type cover for my Surface Pro 2 and it was one of the best decisions I've made. If only this mechanical one was ISO!

UK keycaps is, AFAIK, the only reseller that has a working relationship with Devlin. They only have blank K-Series in stock currently, I am pretty sure the ones in your picture are Q-Series. Might be worth keeping on your radar in case they re-stock.

I made an ADB to USB converter using an pro micro (5V version) for my ISO UK AEK II and it works really well. Leeku MX1800 L3 v1.6 Borked

Hi, So I pretty much finished up building my dream board, Leeku PCB, Steel plate, lubed vintage blacks with 67g springs, orange LEDs, and even had a Dolch PAC case ready to modify to put it in, and the matching caps, spent months getting all the bits together and weeks building it on and off. Everyt...

x220 was the last model before they switched over to chiclet style, and IMO is still much better than any laptop keyboard available on new devices.

Model M Screw Modding

I've owned and refurbished a fair few Model Ms in my time, until now I was fortunate enough that they had enough of the rivets in place not to require bolt or screw modding. Unfortunately my most recent acquisition is missing a lot of rivets though (I counted 24 and some more are loose) I've done a ...

I'll bear that in mind. I also belong to that not insignificant minority, but tend to interact with the bells and whistles RGB lot! Many thanks to anyone who added to the spreadsheet. I think it is close to being a pretty comprehensive list, I've just got to tweak a few of the questions and available answers, give them a priority and then use them to create the survey (I'm thinking of using typeforms ) A couple of people have ex...
