I guess some people prefer heavy switches because they just press down on a key heavily. I asked my friend who uses a Steelseries keyboard with MX Black switches and he said that the switch suits his style perfectly.

That looks like a part of an old IBM keyboard.xD I actually like it. It's simple but the fact that it can be programmed to basically whatever function you want is what sold me.:)

You may want to get a mouse with an optical sensor. That being said, the Razer Deathadder Elite is actually a pretty good mouse in terms of ergonomics and the sensor. You cannot go wrong with it.:)

I clean my keycaps by submerging them in water with some liquid soap. Then, I inspect every keycap and when there is dirt build-up inside, I use a soft-bristled toothbrush to clean it. It is pretty tedious, but it does the job pretty well.
