Re: IBM Model F AT rusty plate common?

Try this: buy a liter bottle of superglue from aliexpress and some cheap canned spray paint. Sand off all the old paint then cover it with a coat of whatever color, then after that use a silicone brush/spatula to spread superglue in thin coats across the surface. I've done it on a 3d printer's glass...

Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards

Ellipse how exactly are you pulling this all off? I've been to Shenzhen, that place is worse than a maze in a maze. How does one even find factories to make something so obscure as a model F, and for the right price for mass production? On the ground, I can't even find a single factory, let alone co...

WTB: Capacitive Buckling Spring Boards (missing keys/feet allowed)

Hi, I'm here asking for some model F's (XT's preferred) in whatever condition but they have to be around 100$ AUD each including shipping. :D If anyone has a mass of boards that they would like to offload or are not bothered to restore to original form I would gladly take them in. Beam springs are a...

In the description the the seller writes: "a very rare clicky keyboard with the great sound and feel of the blue Alps switches." But in the title it says SKCL browns. Weird The Seller maybe Colour-blind because they're the same shade, hence his/her 'possible' confusion :D. "Is the keyboard blue or ...

I stand in the store and read the labels on the cans very carefully. I assume that anything that is not clearly specified (eg "safe for plastic" or "rust preventive") is probably not in there. 20 ms debounce time is not that much. I think that is the norm for office keyboards and not uncommon even among "gaming" keyboards. I have had excellent experience with Rustoleum, although I use separate primers and paints. That doesn't seem like an area for shortcuts to me. But curing times are a bit fuzzy, and some people have much different skin oils. Personally, I have very dry skin, so my experiences may not be the norm. I...
