The Lofree Kickstarter campaign actually had something along the lines of: "Gateron Blue clicky switches, to make this keyboard feel and sound like a typewriter". I laughed to convulsions and vomit.

On a side note: I haven't took apart the WheelWriter yet, but the keys feel *a lot* springy, even though that typewriter has been typed on to shreds (the caps are extremely shiny, not a common sight for IBM keycaps, made of the densest PBT known). I currently have two Model Ms (regular and 122) and a WheelWriter. Based on these and others, I believe that a high number of broken rivets slows down the return of some keys (they feel less springy). But the sound does not change.

Also, as an option, it is pretty easy to make it yourself. The construction involves getting some Arduino implementation (I used the Leonardo Pro Micro, that costed me 3€ shipped, although it took a month to arrive :D but you could pay more and get it from a local seller) and soldering four contacts...
