Re: Active USB to PS/2 adapter?
ATEN has such a product CV10KM:
https://www.aten.com/global/en/products ... es/cv10km/
It requires additional 5V power (free USB port or dedicated USB power supply), which seams reasonable since PS/2 can deliver only 275mA while (normal) USB can draw up to 500mA.

Recommended lubricant for rubberdomes?
Ergonomic keyboard Fujitsu/Siemens KBPC E with rubberdomes needs deep cleaning. My standard cleaning procedure for MX keycaps is to put them into the washing mashine together with some towels and use bleach-containing laundry detergents at >= 60°C. But the rubberdome steams are lubed with some unkno...

Re: Siemens S 22759 keyboard - Siemens STB 21 switche
Well kbdbabel.org has the plug. [7KQ1100] I disagree with 7KQ1100. In the picture you can see the DS26LS33ACN which is a Quadruple Differential Line Receiver, so the interface is for sure ITU V.11 (also known as TIA/EIA-422) like many other Siemens keyboards. So you should also find some 26LS31A fo...

Re: Are these dye subbed keycaps?
I strongly agree to dyesub due to matching surface. Laser would leave cavity due to the burned away material.

Re: new Perixx thumb trackballs Perimice-720/520 [2020]
I wanted to retire my (wired) Logitec Trackman Wheel by the Perimice 520. Overall performance is okay, and it has a goot shape, but serveral drawbacks: For my taste, mouseckicks are too noisy/disturbing and the housing adds additional resonance. DPI switch is located on the bottom and thus unusable ...
