Yeah, me too. I already ordered an F62. Waiting for next round to order an F77, if my F62 lives up to IBM’s Model F legend.

Hmmm... doesn't the HHKB have Topre switches? Also, the Leopold FC660C. I think the 60% Topre market is well covered by those keyboards.Myoth wrote: ↑Topre would break the market with a regular 60% ... though I don't think they would make one, sadly.

REΛLFORCE R2
I don't like the new "space saving" design that does away with the classic shapes of the current one. I guess I am lucky I got my Realforce 87U 10th Anniversary last week. Such a beautiful, classy design! I'd better start saving for a nice Hi-Pro before these new models hit the market. Here it is, B...

Which lube to use for Alps stabilizers?
Hi guys, I have a couple NOS Alps boards. A Northgate Omnikey Plus with White Alps and a SIIG MiniTouch with SMK Blue Montereys (I know, these are not really Alps). Thing is... even though the key feel is freaking awesome, the stabilized keys such as Backspace, Shifts, BAS Enter and especially the s...

Just my two cents: If you're a touch typist, the longer ANSI Enter key is much easier to reach with the pinky. That alone makes ANSI superior, IMHO.

Which Beam Spring keyboard has the most usable/modern layout?
If I were to buy an IBM Beam Spring keyboard and pretended to use it as my daily driver in a modern computer (MacBook Pro in my case), which exact model would be the most convenient, layout-wise?
Thanks!

How I destroyed my keyboard with an attempted mod...
Yeah, Browns suck. I would love to get my hands on a NOS Apple Extended Keyboard (M0115) or NOS Apple Standard Keyboard (M0116) with Alps SKCM Orange. Anybody here interested in selling me one?

Do all Northgate Omnikey's come with complicated Alps?
Hi there guys! I just received my OmniKey! It looks and feels awesome. A true NOS unit. You can imagine my excitement! I have a problem though. I cannot use the keyboard with any of the cables that came in the box. The cables are: * A PS/2 male-to-female short coiled white cable. * A "male PS/2 to m...

Re: Do all Northgate Omnikey's come with complicated Alps?
I think I have the same style omnikey, Is that the one with the cross nav instead of the t nav? If so, it definitely comes with SKCM alps, and I have my money on white alps, which are pretty nice. And when you get it, could you test and see if it has n-key rollover? I have heard that all omnikeys c...

Do all Northgate Omnikey's come with complicated Alps?
Hello guys and gals, I recently acquired a NOS Northgate Omnikey Plus (apparently manufactured in 1989) from eBay. I paid 200 dollars for it (excluding shipping). Now I wonder... is it for sure that they board is gonna come with complicated Alps switches in it? (Most likely, SCKM white alps, I think...

Alps SKCM White vs. Buckling Springs over Membrane (Model M)
Hello guys! This is my first post on the site, although I've been a fan for long time. I wonder what's your opinion on the differences between SKCM (Complicated) White Alps and the Buckling Springs found on a typical IBM Model M. I am making this question mainly because I am considering to buy a Nor...
