wish you left the prices things sold for
Just following the etiquette of other posts and forums that I've seen. I left all the rest of the details up but put the sold items under a 'Spoiler' so everything you see is for sale rather than having to sift through sold and unsold items.

Re: How did you find your internet nickname?

Mine is rather lame, but my first car was a Toyota Corolla, which was called the Altis in some markets (such as Phillipines and Singapore), so I came across it when searching for those sweet, sweet first car mods. 8-) Found it to be a very short, easy to say and spell alias that never seemed to be t...

Topic: Realforce 45g or 55g? I have a HHKB 45g

Realforce 55g is noticeably heavier than the HHKB, while the 45g is a bit lighter than the HHKB. The comparison is a bit more complicated, IMO, because the HHKB has more of a 'pop' while the Realforce is a bit softer in tactility. They also sound quite different, with the Realforce being more quiet ...

I'm also looking to try the Model F, but the prices on eBay are quite steep it would seem these days. Found one with a BIN at $329. Are you looking strictly for an AT or would you consider an XT? Maybe XT... but the steel chassis makes it sound a bit too metallic-pingy, from what I can tell...

To whoever bought it, could you please post your thoughts on it on the feeling and sound of the keyboard. I have one. If you already have a HiPro Topre then the NISSHO doesn't really bring much new to the table. One thing I've noticed about the HiPro is that they feel lighter and more linear than a...

lright, Buyee, let's see what you can do for me. Fingers crossed. To whoever just outbid me:  I'm going to bid it up once more to drive your price up, and then leave it at that. Maybe you saw this, maybe you didn't. :o  Relax XMIT. That's a lot of $$$ for an old Topre. I was seriously c...

First keyboard in the house that I can remember was a KeyTronic E03601QL (rubber dome) that would have looked like this: http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/8TQAAOSwls5Y67cA/s-l1600.jpg IIRC, the domes were actually really nice on it. I recall having used what I now believe to be a IBM Model F AT at a fri...

In Canada it seems that the date format is inconsistent. I don't really have a preference for which format is used... all I care is that I know right away which date it's referencing. Something like 06/07/04 could mean anything. At least if I know it's from an American source, I'm 100% certain it's ...

Hello Deskthority, New here but post under the same name over on GH. In addition to keyboards, I've taken to collecting mechanical pencils (and pens, to a lesser extent). I figure if you're going to collect something, it might as well be something of use. 8-) Just as I like to switch up keyboards to...
