Very interesting.

I wonder if a variant where ✭ is replaced by ☦ would be requested.

Also, where is the blue in this layout? ;-)

A Model F AT.

Get a Model F AT in the 5251 case and THAT will be the perfect Cousin Itt.

Come to think of it, how much available space is inside the XT-on-steroids? Enough to fit other computer components and make a full PC out of it?

You're tempting me to get a Matias Silent and adding (subreptitiously) a solenoid to it. Then activating it... every now and then... randomly, to make everyone go nuts.

I'd get fired, surely, and would not be able to complain about it.

I would love for the IT directors in my area to decide that all of their folks needed MKs. I can see a mass order from Unicomp for USB Model M 103s. Would be glorious. This reminds me... when it comes to Alps switches (I bought a Pingmaster as well, but haven't taken it out of the box yet), what ARE the options available for custom keycaps? That's the thing. I am an orderly guy. Everything has a place and everything is safely stored... so not being able to find something drives me up the wall. Especially something I DO care about a lot. And there's no reason whatsoever for those keycaps to NOT be where they were supposed to be.

[RANT] Where are my KEYCAPS?!

While doing my inventory of SDL cables, I found the small ziploc bag with the keycaps of a long-dead Model M that I had last used to test my custom layouts. I counted them, and all the keycaps where there, except for the twenty that I had replaced with clear keycaps (from a large lot of 71, yes, sev...

I've kept thinking about the modifiers' placement.
