Re: Redmaus Megasale
Just how clean are the legends on those XT modules? only issue with mine is the "smudged" legends, although an unused module certainly wouldn't hurt.

Re: Omron75, the year of B3G-S omrons
I took a look under my cap after what you said. It uses a standard ansi stab with a pipe support right where the |\ key switch would sit. it would be a little wobbly, but I think it might actually work without the barrel at all.

Re: Omron75, the year of B3G-S omrons
I've had a board in near new condition with some clicky ambers in it for the longest time, but i've been mostly unable to use it since it's so large (A Wang 725 of some sort). I've been looking about for projects that would support these switches, and I have to say this one looks pretty good! Becaus...

Re: Some of my best finds from Computer Reset
Wew, a White Whale. Out of all beamers, absolutely the one I want the most. Mostly due to my overuse of the name "Ahab" and constant allusions to Moby Dick, but the all white caps are lovely as well. Maybe one day I'll actually have the funds to afford one.

Re: Hi-Pro vs. SA
Alright, Chuckdee, I'm gonna level with you. SP divides their profiles into three groups: High Profile, Medium Profile, and Low Profile. High profile is of course SA and their returning DSS profile, Medium Profile is DCS, and low profile is DSA and G20 (and the novelty flat keys I guess). That's all...

Re: IC and Massdrop: the Halo Switch Disagreement
So.... It seems Input Club worked around Massdrop by working directly with Kailh on new switches called Ha k o Clear and Ha k o True . These are based on Kailh's "Box" switches and the force graphs are a little bit different than the Halo's. The tactility seems a little sharper and Hako True has le...

I too have one of those Unicomp PC-122s with a PS/2 cable. If it can be done with that, that would be a yes for me.

At most that the switches in it won't be called Halo switches.bloo wrote:What a mess. What does this mean for the K-type?

That would make things less clear, not more. I fail to see how seeing the text in its entirety would make this less clear. Then we would at least be able to see a better idea as to why this is happening in the first place. I thought I was pretty clear in what I said. You might not agree, but the st...

Personally, I find IC's cherry picking of contract clauses leaving a bad taste in my mouth; we have no idea of the context and it's rather unprofessional. It's just a typical business disagreement, if you are going to run a business it comes with the territory; you negotiate your disputes in privat...

Wait, are these different from the other low profile switches that kailh released? They sound a lot like those ones, but with a different color stem.

Aye, but you can order 55g domes for them.mech greenhand wrote:There are only 35g and 45g versions...

Hmm, how much do dome sheets cost again? I'd like one of these but 45g is too light.
