Re: [IC] SP DCS Wyse compatibility kit - new kits and pricing as of November 6!
Big updates!
Exact pricing is coming very soon for all kits.
Kit and legend design has been modified slightly. I am still looking for feedback on the diamond/star/winkey and menu/fn/menu-icon legends.

[WTB] ISO Cherry dye subs
WTB a relatively low cost set of ISO layout original Cherry dye sub keycaps. Some scuffs are fine, doesn't need to be perfect condition. Specific language isn't important, will consider paying extra for interesting sublegends or an unusual language. Not looking to pay more than $100 USD.

Re: [IC] SP DCS Wyse compatibility kit - survey added!
Project update: trying to work out a different kit design that could make things significantly cheaper. Specifically I am going to try and splitting up the kits so that the most popular keys will be available at a lower price. I've reached out to SP for a new round of quotes and I will update if the...

Re: [IC] SP DCS Wyse compatibility kit - survey added!
https://pictshare.net/oya4nk.png Whoever you are, I understand your frustration. They are beautiful keyboards and I personally wish more of them were left as-is. However, the "vints" train left the station long ago. Wasting my time removing fake IC submissions does nothing to prevent people from st...

Re: [IC] SP DCS Wyse compatibility kit - survey added!
I am very much interested in this. Would it be outside of the slope of this project to get an ESC and enter keys that are yellow on grey, like an inverse of the yellow arrow keys? That's a nice idea, especially for 60% users who don't get to use the sweet yellow arrow keys. It's not out of scope, b...

Re: Ultrasonic cleaning SKCL green Alps
Thanks. I got impatient last night and this is what I did (for 70 switches): Top housings with 1 denture tab and a glob of unscented dish detergent, for around 6 minutes. Sliders with a good amount of IPA in 300 mL water, for around 8 minutes. Seems squeaky clean. Sliders look like they still have s...

Ultrasonic cleaning SKCL green Alps
I've seen a lot of info out there on ultrasonic cleaning Alps, but not a lot of coherent info. I'm hoping to get a specific recommendation on my use case from the experts. I have a batch of fairly clean SKCL green Alps. I don't know how much use they saw. They don't appear dirty at all inside, howev...

DIY "isolation mount" / "gasket mount" for mere mortals
I wrote up some of my research on making the gasket-mount/isolation-mount trend more accessible to people who aren't able to participate in high-end keyboard group buys. My original post is at https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/aijrnv/feeling_left_out_of_the_gasketmount_trend_no/,...

MX1A-G1DN is an MX Brown part code. Judging by that, and the fact that the actuation forces match, I'd say they just screwed up the picture.
