Re: BTC dome with slider inconsistent tactility

I own a fairly well used 5139, and I personally haven't experienced this issue. I would actually recommend opening it up and giving it a good clean though if you haven't already. Since it uses rubber dome sheets, it's quite easy to just take those out and give them a good rinse, and clean out any g...

Re: BTC dome with slider inconsistent tactility

I've bought a BTC 5140 recently and it's great so far, however the tactility is a bit inconsistent in some keys, for example, W is less tactile than T. Is this normal and is there a way to fix this? I own a fairly well used 5139, and I personally haven't experienced this issue. I would actually rec...

Re: DZ60 pcb

Keyboards work in a matrix So a fault on one switch can cause problems for other in that part of the matrix. Chances are that one of the pads that you solder the pins from the switch into has been lifted this can happen on lower quality PCBs when using a soldering iron with poor temperature control...

DZ60 pcb

Hello. I have recently purchased a fully assembled DZ60, and I decided to desolder the switches in order to swap the springs with lighter ones. The problem is that 4 switches now are no longer working, those that on the PCB are labeled as esc, 1, 2, 3 and 4. Can you please help me understand what we...

BTC dome with sliders spare parts

Hello.

I just purchased a BTC 5100C but unfortunately 3 sliders were partly broken and now I'm looking for some spare parts. Ideally I'd like to buy a handful of sliders and domes to have around should I need them in the future.

Thanks.

Re: Need help designing the top part of a case

are you sure you can actually fit the acrylic sheet on the wooting? Yes, I think it would fit. Basically I was thinking to something like the top part of a sandwich style case. There's kits available for sale online but I'm not sure the spacing between the different sections of the keyboard is comp...

Need help designing the top part of a case

Hello. Since I don't like the floating key design of my Wooting One, I'm thinking about having a sheet of acrylic cut to measure to place on top of the plate. The problem is that I have no clue on how to design one so I was hoping someone who knows how to use cad software can make one for me. Of cou...

Re: Flaretech switches plate swap

It is not. To restrict switch orientation, the switch housings have a knob that goes into an additional notch in the plate's mounting hole. https://deskthority.net/wiki/File:WootingOneNotch.jpg Edit: I measured. Other than the notch, the holes are 14.0×14.0 mm, with plate surface 5 mm over the PCB....

Can you attempt to handwire the connections where the traces normally run for the switches that aren't working and let us know if that works?
I hand wired the tab switch to the tilde one. The tab still does not work, but the tilde now work as the tab key... I soldered the left pins.
