Re: Price Check: How much is my _____ worth?
Hi there I want to offer an Ultrasound Classic 1MB in exchange for a blue alps keyboard in the WTT category. Is that against the rules? How much is it worth? From what I can tell the price fluctuates between 150 and 500$/€s. Edit: This might not have been the best topic for this answe but anyway, h...

You realize you could have just taken a picture of your new keyboard and then made a thread? If you want to play week long guessing games you might want to check out the "IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD" thread

Re: IBM 3278 Beam Spring
I'm gonna leave this here, hope you get my point of view. Lets not continue this argument anymore it's starting to get rather silly from both ends. I'll leave a discord chat with ZyBer, few people are asking whats going on and I need new key caps if this keeps going further. Too much typing include...

Re: IBM 3278 Beam Spring
Is $1500 not enough? I mean you got it for 30 Euro. Sorry but it seems like you are actively contributing to the price inflation that makes it so hard for people(especially newer members such as yourself) to obtain these boards. Most people don't have the money to put out a car payment on a beamspr...

Re: IBM 3278 Beam Spring
A member contacted me and heavily suggested putting the item up on Ebay with the price being 2999.99$. He said if I was not going to do that, he would buy the board from me with 2000$ and continue from there. So we made a deal. I'm trying to sell the product through Ebay (maybe Reddit aswell) with ...

kind of mind boggling it was thrown away (then again, mine was too at some point in its life :p ). Nah, that's probably the realistic part. Whether you were working in a Cherry office in those times, a pc clone shop or for a computer magazine with reviews, you got sent a lot of stuff, it ends up in...

Re: G80-5000HAASL
I got it in 2010, before the keyboard hobby really got big. I was exploring some of the Asian communities, mostly South Korean (they were ahead a bit), together with sixty, and he was really into Cherry and got into trading a lot because they were too. He tipped me about a private sale, didn't have...

I mean, keycap wise? Sure. Board wise? Probably not

Still, those are some incredible looking caps, esepcially SAA.

G80-5000HAASL
My streak of good Cherry luck continues with another board, this time an MX5000, the ergo keyboard from cherry and one of the first keyboards to come with MX brown switches (together with the kinesis). It was dirty and needed a good clean, but that was relatively simple. Comes with vintage MX brown ...

No legal ground other than "bad kid took keyboard and made money".
Ethics wont cut it in court - if it even gets to there.

Re: RollerMouse - your opinions?
I have a little issue. I got a used Free2 and recently I notice black spots on left side of the metal axle. When it happens, the roller feels sticky. When I remove this spots, it feels smooth again, but after 2-3 days spots come back again. Any ideas? I think thats just regular grime, might be wron...

Cherry G80-3000HAQ
Recently got a big-ish haul of Cherry keyboards, with what I think is an undocumented board in the pile. Its a G80-3000 WKL with slovenian doubleshot keys :) They were a bit dirty and benefited from a thorough clean. The switches are fairly smooth vintage MX blacks. Some pictures: https://files.catb...

If you do try it, please let me know. Mine refuses to work with an adapter (switched to AT or XT). Am suspecting the cable at this point since it was replaced.
