I do it with Karabiner (remap Insert to Fn on the host). Don’t know if there’s a way on the board itself.

Tried the SCUMYC layout for the first time and I start to get used to it.

How do you have the keys mapped? My bottom row is Opt, MacFn, Cmd, Ctrl, Space, CapsLock, nothing, nothing, and MO(1).

Here is my wishlist for special keys. Are any of these a possibility?

1.75u Escape or Esc
1.25u Ctrl
1.25u Cmd
1.25u Mac Command icon (⌘)
1.5u Opt
1.5u Mac Option icon (⌥.)

Would it be possible to sneak in a 1u control symbol ("^") and a 1u Mac command symbol ("⌘")? I would love to have a couple of each in pebble.

Is there a way to open and close the inner assembly without having to remove and replace all the keys? When I try, some of the flipper always end up displaced or stuck.

(This is not an Ellipse F … trying to keep at least one of my XTs functional so I have a daily driver while I wait for my new F62.)

If you can figure out how to do the dyesubbing well and share the details, it will usher in a whole new era of keycap design and production for the community, not only for bucking springs but also Topre and Cherry MX.
