White Badge XT Zenith Z-150?
I recently got this pristine Zenith Z-150 off of ebay with SCKL green alps. I was excited to have AT version of this board to use (and possibly swap the badges, but I dont have the tools for it) But based on the layout (using the DT wiki) and how its not responding to my 5 pin din connector and eith...

https://i.imgur.com/8MlcfyR.jpg This board is so clean. I finally know the feeling of pristine alps. It's so beautiful. That is very nice. Is that one from the stock of NOS ones they found a while ago? (typing this on my green Alps Zenith) I found this on ebay a few weeks ago. It was the cl...

This is a new all-time high for vintage keyboardr iirc. I'm afraid this is just the beginning. Just like Graphic Card's, who knows when prices will ever drop down to reasonable levels again  . Ugh, seriously. I need a new computer but keep putting it off cause the price of cards fluxes up and ...

Given the escalating demand right now, I wouldn't be surprised if someone bought it right out the gate.//gainsborough wrote: ↑ATs are hot right now...
So how many of you would judge me if I floated my NIB F AT up on eBay for $1500 to test the market hype?

I've got a bit of an odd question to ask, and given the price of blue alps these days, a slightly nice one to ask. But how should blue alps boards, or the switches that are in good condition, supposed to sound and feel? I've got a fairly clean looking Gold Label Omnikey 102 with blue alps. After tak...

Silly question but this would work with the Gold Label 102 right? Sorry, you are going to have to ship that to me...for testing purposes. :evilgeek:  But yes it works with all variants of omnikey, for the 102 you just solder and go. Was gonna respond with a follow up question, as I swear it sa...

The earliest AT101s had a weight bar inside that helped. Some of them had the good PBT caps, too. Good luck finding those keyboards especially ones with all PBT key-caps for under $400USD if they are trashed but for NIB condition, do expect closer to $700+. I literally just got one in the mail.... ...

If you manage to make a working coverter out of this, consider me interested. I've got a black label Z-150 I want to get working with my computer too.green-squid wrote: ↑looked into it and it looks easy as 1 2 3. There is a significant chance I am going to do it.

Yeah, definitely linear from the feel. The layout is really cool looking though. My favorite part of the board has to be the placement of the lock light indicators and nav cluster. Makes it seem very business like to me. I'm no expert on keyboard parts or construction (again, why I feel someone shou...

It's a nice linear feel to type on, though what I think is another enter type key below the arrows is a bit squeaky. You might be able to hear it in the short typing video I made for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bu11YgpFM-g The board is interesting, but I'm not sure if I want to keep it. I'd ...

Purchased this from Yahoo Japan auctions and actually typing on it to post this. I'm fairly new keyboards as a hobby, and even newer to vintage boards, so this won't be a super detailed post. It uses the linear Fujitsu Leaf Spring switches, which feel like nothing I've typed on before. I'm just glad...

Green alps are just pingy switches. I used to have a new z-150 and was till extremely pingy. If you don't like the ping, yellow alps aren't as smooth, but less pingy and sound better. Are they responsible for most of the ping and the metal case merely adds onto it? Or does it really depend on the c...
