That's the Shimadzu FKB-1A, a Tactile Fujitsu Magnetic Reed board. I think I have the only FMR board with a case

Topre boards often have really low polling rates... if you play rhythm games like osu! you really won't be able to play with it, sadly.
Cherry switches are quite resistant to dust as far as I'm concerned. There's probably some other switches out there that also deal with dust, but I can't bring it up the top of my head

I have no idea if this will help anyone, but here's a dump of pictures of my Focus FK-727 with Blue Alps switches. https://i.imgur.com/2CWg743.jpg https://i.imgur.com/HPRNdJW.jpg https://i.imgur.com/OIbCUYw.jpg https://i.imgur.com/2qmrKIn.jpg https://i.imgur.com/XKlT8rl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/A8S4S...
Geez, it did not occur to me that the Apple AEKII would be regarded as a keyboard that needs to be preserved. I thought it's the type of keyboard that was so mass produced it, that is pops up everywhere. Also, I did not find much praise for the dampened ALPS switches. They also felt like a lacklust...
Nice, I had one of those laser branded k102s too, I really liked the badge but I ended up slaughtering it for it's switches. Also on the note of the current discussion, DrClick can you see if those blue alps fit on regular alps keycaps. I had a Copam 430 which is probably one of the rarest blue alp...
Interesting! I have another project in stock at the moment and I've been somewhat struggling to find the R2 1u \ key, at least for GMK caps anyway. I don't think something like DSA would fit the board too well, but you might also be having the same issue as me for the \ key, just a heads up.
There was the Silo switches, Hall Effect and Beamspring MX-mount switch. BOX switches came and went. People got crazy about a switch combo named "Holy Pandas", it got extremely expensive but now there are multiple versions of them. TGR is becoming the new OTD. There was an MX Alps slider called the ...

I managed to get a pretty decent board with these switches in, albeit it's very dirty and will need serious cleaning. One thing, though, is that 3 of the switches have broken stems. I would like to get some to replace them so I can have a complete build, which would be pretty cool. Cross-mount versi...
Especially because Yellow Alps and Amber Alps don't have the same color

I think you forgot to mention that the board is PCB mounted, but whatever. Finally got to see a review of this board hahaha
not sure I understand what is happening He's thinking of quitting his iMav account, whether on GH, here, or wherever keyboard-related, and is asking for our opinions. He could still be active on the sites, just under a different, probably unknown name. I personally don't have an opinion on it, sinc...
Super Glue works decently well with ABS and that's what I've used in mine. I'm not sure if it would work as well for you because there isn't a lot of surfaces in your part, but give it a try.
Looks like I might need some help with this one. https://i.imgur.com/kYlnGec.jpg Apparently I need a Matias board to buy the spare caps and that I need to show them which caps from which board are missing, all just for confirmation? Very odd (albiet I tried to buy a backslash cap too, as a backup). ...
I'm looking for a black 7u spacebar, in whatever mount it may be. Specifically, I'm looking for a black Alps Electric-made black spacebar, but I've only known a single board that comes with it, and I don't have enough money to actually obtain such a set just for a spacebar, so that's out of the ques...

I just noticed that that the connector's pins are so bent! Otherwise, this is a great restoration! Love how IBM boards clean up so well.
They are so nice! Extremely smooth, a nice sound to boot because of the stem. Feels very comfortable to type on too because of the light progressive springs. They're awesome.
So, I received a Model F AT a couple days ago. My first buckling springs keyboard! Looks great, feels great. Love this thing. (I'll get a better picture of this thing when it actually works. :) ) https://i.imgur.com/13rt29A.jpg The one problem though is that none of the "switches" work. The lock lig...
I have a pretty incomplete set of an M0118, missing Ctrl, a shift, and a \| key that's next to the ISO enter. I'm not sure what you are looking for specifically, but if you're still interested, just PM me. I'm also im the US.
