Fuck, why am I so late to the party? Add me to spot -3. ;_; Not that I use ISO very frequently, but a Scandinavian should have at least one Scandinavian keyboard in their collection. :o You guys make sure to post sexy photos when you get the boards. Sexy photos of the boards and nothing else, of cou...

I recently bought an Eizo EV2736WFS-GY in hope it'd be more white than grey, since it'd have been a good match for my new desk, but as it turns out it's pretty beige-grey. Pretty much the CRT color, wohoo! Not a very pleasant surprise for me, but if you're in the market for 90s' color monitors this ...

Acanthopis: that would work, but a PCB just makes everything feel a bit more rigid, and it looks a lot better too, so I'm not too sure. Findecanor: I thought modifying the PCB would be hard and you make it sound a lot harder than I'd thought, so maybe I'll just skip that. Modding the keycap sounds l...

Hi people, and welcome to what's called a necrobump! After almost 9 months with my Phantom I'm getting the urge to build another, even better, one. I've come to realize my preferences layout wise, and I also happened to realize the bottom row of the 7bit layout is really close to what I want, except...

I'd say you can definitely put an important object in the center of a picture and still take a great photo - my belief is it's important to acknowledge there's definitely no set rules for photography. Although there are guidelines, it's important not to mistake them for rules. However, in most cases...

19%...That's pretty ruthless :( Finland it's 24%, plus tolls if they are sufficiently hi also... 25% in Sweden, I win! 0% additional toll fees on electronics though, which is quite neat. You always get a pesky penalty fee of 100SEK (~11.4€) from the Swedish Post though. In before the Hungarians I g...

I just bought a bare Mini Din socket, clipped wires and soldered those minuscule buggers on while cursing and melting plastic! There's an easier way? I should learn to solder sometime. It's always so dramatic! I feel the same, much cursing... You can use a old cable, strip the wires and solder them...

Filco releases Majestouch Minila Air (Bluetooth)
Link to press release Bad translation (my Japanese isn't what it could've been and I have no Idea of how to English) of press release: Diatec, the company developing the Filco brand, on 5th of September 2013 announced "Majestouch MINILA Air", a "double thumb-function-key" layout mechanical keyboard...

Yup, I can confirm I didn't lube them. ;) I hadn't realized before that other switches than Blacks could've been lubed by Cherry before, so this was a bit surprising. Now that I think about it though, could this mean Cherry used to lube their switches with a different kind of lube? Since modern-day ...

Huh. I'm finding this keyboard a bit peculiar. It's basically WASDKeyboards's new model, except, most notably, it's backlit and has Clears. Don't know if I mentioned this somewhere already, but I got my CMYK and Escape keys last week. Don't have any fancy photos since I went to Germany the same day, but they look great and I'm happy I got them!

This is just too tragic. Words really aren't enough, and I don't know what more I should write, so I won't.

Sorry, but I think it's rather interesting that you're complaining about people complaining about prices of keyboards, but you're complaining about the prices of keycaps yourself. Kind of contradictive. I'm just having trouble seeing how this would give some credibility to your argument. I also thin...

Sadly enough, I think Cleverly Keyboard closed a couple of years ago. I might be wrong, but at least that's what I've heard. Also, if I recall correctly, the Yodobashi store in Akihabara had the best selection of keyboards. (Feels like I've been to all Yodobashi stores in Japan soon...) Well, anyway...

Saw a KBC Poker X in a store here in Hiroshima a couple of days ago, so some Chinese stuff is definitely available here. Can't remember seeing any Noppoos somewhere though. By the way, something that's also possible, and might be a good idea, is ordering from Amazon to a convenience store (Lawson an...

@kbdfr: yeah, what you're saying is true after all. For us Swedes, we have to declare 25% VAT on items bought from the EU ("invoiced VAT"), but since the VAT is tax deductible we're able to declare it as "deductible VAT" in our tax declaration. Virtually this means we aren't paying anything, as opp...

-The vat in Sweden is 25%. -You can't count on customs to be sloppy (in some EU countries nothing gets through it seems) - In theory it's against the rules to not pay vat when importing. It could be sent back in one shipping to EU and then distributed in eu (even throw its dumb) - I don't think I s...

If someone inside the EU buys it they'll have to pay the VAT at 19%, but if someone in the US buys it they don't have to, if I've understood it correctly. I've never had to pay any customs fees on any package from the US shipped with USPS, and I think I've heard somewhere before that the customs peo...
