Re: Recreating the Lisp keyboard (10 years later)

Like everyone else that has already stated the keycaps are killer and would love if they were offered separately as well.

I'll be back with this topic after I have been able to hunt down a blue alps keyboard that will not cost me an arm and a leg.
Good luck and happy hunting!

Re: ReSKCM - Optical rework, and cloning of Alps SKCM/SKCL switches

Your youthful naïveté and bravado is invigorating and inspiring, but you're painfully unaware of the magnificent scope of such an endeavor. Recreating these beloved switches has been a recurring topic of numerous threads here on DT and elsewhere. Every serious attempt has been a lone winding road l...

Re: Alps Lubricant FOUND!

How does this new lubricant in the video compare to R0-59KT? THANK YOU. That made my brain click. That's the stuff I lubed my white Alps with, although it's called RO-59tmKT . The "TM" isn't because it's trademarked. It's actually part of the name. It's also an "O" and not a "0." As I've linked to ...

Re: Alps Lubricant FOUND!

All right guys and girls, I have finally nailed it. :D :D :D I can safely say that, based on my research and my theory, I got ahead and ordered some lubes (3 different ones) that should work as the original. Two of them arrived yesterday and to my satisfaction, indeed one of them turned out to be *...

Re: Vintage findings - keyboards, brochures, typewriters etc

Thank you all! I really like the brochures too! I was planning to scan all the paper documents before selling them. I don't want them to get lost or destroyed during shipping. If somebody wants to help me put them up on the deskthority wiki after scanning I'd appreciate it! Just wondering if there ...

Re: What is this keyboard - Aropa KT-1002

This is a china based wyse re-brand keyboard. I have yet to see if one speaks the same protocol. If it uses the RJ11, wouldn't it be Wyse 4P4C protocol? Or are you saying all the clones use different protocol? Once I get it I can open it up and see if there's any clues inside. It should in theory u...

Sure one is better for single switches(white) while the other one(black) is better for switches in boards.

Having both Alps Ambers and a lot of clicky MX switches the best match is ProWrold switches as they are just as tactile and feel about 95% the same due to how they operate.

Would it be more economical to sell them by the board instead of desoldering them yourself? Might ease the burden a bit.
Shipping would be increase by a bit for sure due to the size and weight.

@elecplus Most terminal terminal keyboards that are WYSE or rebanded are NKRO. Also some space invader boards are as well but they have to have the diodes in order for this to be applicable.
